"Why are we playing softball again" Ben asked
"Team building" Richard smiled
"Well go team" Ben laughed
"Ben why don't you get out there" Callie urged him
"I'm here for moral support" He smiled
"Waterboy" Arizona laughed and missed the pitch thrown to her by Mark
"Yeah eye on the ball Robbins" Ben laughed
"Alright everyone let's get our head in the game for tomorrow" Owen clapped his hands
As everyone was leaving the field Ben walked up to Miranda.
"I didn't know you could play softball" He smiled
"I didn't know you couldn't" She teased
"I chose not to. Avoiding drama you know" He shrugged
"We have enough Seattle Pres and SGMW drama with Mark, Lexie, and Julia" She laughed
"Lexie is with Jackson"
"And in love with Mark still"
"No" Ben covered his mouth
"We're not friends Benjamin Warren. We don't sit and gossip together"
"Why? Because you just broke up with your nurse toy not too long ago. Hey, you've been on Grey's ass lately. Is it cause you're not getting any" Ben smirked
"I have a trial to get to" She rolled her eyes
"See you at work Miranda" He waved as she walked away
"You think your ex is going to show," Mark asked Ben
"Yeah, She is. I'm ready for a show" Ben laughed as he walked to his car.
Later during the game Ben sat on the sidelines as SGMW was losing. Teddy couldn't pitch and Grey and Yang were having a conversation. And Callie and Arizona were kissing.
"Good-looking team Chief" Ben joked
"You get out there then" Owen looked at him
"I'm here for moral support" He laughed
A surgeon from Seattle Pres hit the ball. It flew towards Meredith and Cristina got ready to catch, but Bailey ran up to them and caught the ball instead.
"Yeah," Ben punched the air " You see that catch. "What a woman"
Owen and Henry looked at him and he calmed down. " It was nice a catch" He cleared his throat.
"Yeah" Henry laughed " That's what you're excited about"
"Ummm argument in the outfield" Ben pointed to Miranda and Meredith.
"What is your problem with me"
"I beg your pardon"
" I don't want on your stupid trial. I just need to get it out of my head"
They argued back and forth and Ben, Henry, and Owen just watched.
"Uh, no, Mer" Yang tried to stop the argument
"Are you drunk"
"She is. We are" Yang answered
"So what is your problem" Meredith asked again
"What is my problem? All right, I'll tell you my problem. My problem is you. Everywhere I look, you're all in my trial, coming in my lab, opening my doors" Miranda yelled
