She was anxious and she had no idea why.

Perhaps it's because the last time she saw the Counters, she had stabbed one of them.

She mentally winced at the thought.

She kept scrubbing at the blood on the floor until she heard the sound of a car pulling in.

She dropped the rag and went to unlock the door.

But not before glancing at So Mun's resting form.

She noticed the blood seeping through the bandage.

With a rough exhale, she unlocked the door and moved to sit in the chair opposite So Mun.

Carefully, she removed the bandage and placed it on the table.

He gently woke up to her ministrations on his lower stomach.

"Hana." He whispered raspily.

"Shh, let me fix the bandage." She muttered in response.

He remained silent as she took the time to wrap a fresh bandage on his wound.

That's when she felt the presence of the Counters behind her.

"Ms. Chu." So Mun exhaled in slight confusion.

Hana finished with the bandage before turning around to face the people she had hurt.

Jeok-bong was eyeing her cautiously, almost in anticipation of her attacking them once more.

Motak was watching her expressionless, but she could tell he was on his guard.

Chairman Choi was the only one to shoot her a small smile, an attempt at keeping the peace.

But Ms. Chu. She didn't even glance at her.

"So Mun, what the hell happened?" She exclaimed, exasperated.

Hana moved slightly away from So Mun, giving Ms. Chu the space she needed to heal him.

Ms. Chu sat in the seat Hana once occupied and got to work with her healing.

"I was fighting an evil spirit, when Park Hyuk came. He killed the spirit and he tried to kill me." He explained gently, trying to ease all the Counters.

Hana's eyes moved away, staring at the blood stain she was still working on.

What was happening to her?

Why was she feeling sympathy?

Why did she care what happened to any of them?

"I came to the cafe and Hana helped me." So Mun finished.

Hana looked at So Mun once more to see an intimate look in his eyes.

Before it was because he seemed to know her from the past.

But now. Now it was from the clash of their lips against each other. Their shaky breaths as their kisses moved along skin.

She sharply looked away, ignoring his gaze.

Ms. Chu turned to face her, a gentle smile on her face now.

"Thank you, Hana." Ms. Chu sighed.

So Mun's eyes shut tightly as Ms. Chu continued to heal him.

Almost as if he was still in pain.

She almost moved toward him unintentionally, but Motak stopped her.

"In order for Ms. Chu to heal, he needs to feel the pain caused by the injury." Motak explained calmly.

She stayed in her spot and looked towards Jeok-bong.
