Chapter 18

             "Yeah, I know man. I'm gonna handle everything once I get back to the Y. I just gotta help my baby's people out," he looked down at you while you slept peacefully in his arms, "We gotta get shit situated. Mhm... Yeah. I'm gonna holla at you later. Haha... Alright Roger." It was now morning. Everyone slept here at your parents place. The conversation from last night carried itself all through out the night. You and Daniel fall asleep on the couch. Perry was knocked out on the recliner lol. His snoring was crazy!!! Daniel watched as Perry slept, each snore adding to his frustration. You see Daniel could deal with the snoring, he just was concerned about you sleeping. Dan rolled his eyes and pulled you in closer into his arms. "I love you baby girl," he softly pecked your pink lips, then smiled. This man had so much love for you, it was unconditional at that. You mean to tell me a nigga still willing to hold you down after your mama swung on that ass earlier lol... But after figuring out where her aggression came from, he let that go. He put all that aside because he knew the picture was bigger than an altercation. Your parents needed help, like yesterday. Daniel was prepared to do whatever he had to do to show you he was down for the cause. His love didn't stop at you. It continued and flowed unto your parents. True lo♥e. His stared at your pretty face with his brown eyes. Oh how he loved watching you sleep. Watching you breathe in and out brought a sense of calmness to him, always. All of a sudden, Perry let out the biggest snore ever! Annoyed and impatient, he grabbed a pillow from his left side and chunked it at his face. "PERRY!!!" Delusional and discombobulated, Perry popped up and looked around. "What son?!" Dan pointed at you, "You disrespecting her sleep right now. Like damn, control that shit P!" Perry busted out laughing, "Chill son, she still out anyway." "Not really." Lol, they both looked at you and then back at each other. "It's fine, I'm up anyway." "I'm sorry lil mama... I just can't help the snoring," he said shutting his eyes again. "Its okay," you said shaking your head. "Perry could you...." Dan couldn't even finish his sentence before the next snore let out. "I fuckin' can't." "Relax babe, I slept fine," you stroked his lips with your fingers gently. Daniel brought this peaceful vibe upon on. The past 24 hours was enough drama to drive anyone insane but guess where he was... Right by your side. "How did you sleep Dan?" He blinked, "Good. Not bad at all. Just concerned about your ppl. I wanna see things straighten out." "So do I." You sat up and stretched before standing to your feet. "You ready for breakfast?" He looked you up and down, horny ass lol. "That'd be nice," he said batting his eyes at you. You winked and headed to the kitchen. "Ok, let's see what they got in here." You spent a few moments roaming the kitchen before realizing there was barely food... It made you feel extremely emotional. You stood in the middle of the floor covering your eyes. "Whats wrong baby?" After letting out a deep sigh, you ran your fingers through your curls. Foot steps approached you. "What is it [Yn]," he asked getting in your face, "Hmm?" "There's barely food in there..." He sighed as well, "That's gonna change and you know that. Stop the tears. Now." You couldn't help but let out something though. He took hold of both hands and held them against his big chest, "I need you to be strong. Not only for them," he pointed to your parents room, "But me as well. Okay mama?" "Yes," you managed to choke out. He kissed each hand, then pulled you into his chest, "Stop it [Yn]..." "Its just so much has been going on Daniel... Like there has been no type of chill lately. With anything." He held you tighter, "I know." The door to your parents room opened. You both looked over, "Remember what I said," he kissed your cheek then leaned against the counter. "MORNING EVERYONE!" Your parents came out together wheeling out suitcases. "I see y'all ready to get outta here huh?" "More than ever," your dad said wiping his eyes. Your parents spent their morning packing and praying. Dan went over to shake his hand. Then he hugged your mom. He stood back and nodded his head, "I believe there's some greater purpose for y'all. Its just getting there is hard," he said smiling. "Exactly." Your parents didn't wanna spend another day in this home. It was full of sorrow and unhealthy spirits right now. It was time for them to get a revival and get into some positive energy. Your next stop was Jersey to see your in-laws. It was time to get them what they needed and deserved. 'Help'. "Mom." "Yes baby?" "Are there any extra tooth brushes?" She thought for a second, "Mhm. Lemme grab y'all some." "Daniel needs one. And Perry. I got one in my suitcase." "Ok," she yelled from the other room. Your dad took a seat on the couch while you ran to your suitcase for your brush and paste. "Goodness gracious Perry! Horrific snorer I see... Well, hear." "Yup, its even worse when he goes to sleep right after eating." "How did y'all sleep through this," he asked looking at you and Daniel. You both shrugged. "I'm use to it I guess." Your dad chuckled. Your mom stepped into the room, handing Dan a toothbrush. "That other one is Perry's." "Thanks Mrs. [YLN]." Hearing that caused your dad to look up. His eyes flickered back and forth from the divorce papers across the room to your mother. She took a seat next to your dad, then offered to make breakfast. You stopped in the middle of your tracks heading to the bathroom with Dan, "I didn't see anything in there Ma. Lets just eat on the plane." She nodded and sat back down, then gave Perry this awful look from his snoring lol. The two of you ran upstairs to your old bathroom. Daniel shut the door behind you both. "Ready to get outta here." "Me too." You both wet your brushes before using the paste. "Thanks baby." At first what started out as innocent teeth brushing turned into... well lol... Daniel got behind you and started grinding on you. Lawd knows its been a minute since some good dick (and a sex chapter lmfao) so you couldn't help but surrender to his goofiness. "Ooh em gee, staap Daaaan," you said with a mouth fool of paste. His hands started roaming your body. He laughed while spitting out his paste lol. You both rinsed your mouth as you finished up. He sat his tooth brush down on the counter, "Its been so long." You titled your head, "A few days is long to you?" He rolled his eyes, then bit his lips. "Come here." You stepped closer to him. He pushed you against the nearest wall and picked you up, holding you by your legs. He kissed any skin in sight. "Babe please... I can't take this tease right now." "Oh don't worry," he said breathing in your ear, "I got something planned for you on the plane," he said laughing in your ear. He was so sexy and sensual, yet goofy. You started kissing him, slowly. Oh how you missed him. With all the chaos going on lately, it was hard to appreciate your man. Even something as simple as his kisses. "Mhm, I'm puttin that ass to work on the plane... And don't say I didn't warn you neither, understood?" You nodded looking into this eyes, trying to take him seriously. "I love you..." "I love you too." He placed your body down, then winked. He grabbed your hand and walked you down the steps. The two of you came back to find Perry up and wide awake. He and your dad were laughing about something. It was good to hear laughter. Best kinda medicine. "Oh look at the two love birds," Perry said before making a fake snore. Daniel rolled his eyes as everyone else laughed. "Everyone ready to go? We gotta flight to catch. Driver should be here in a few moments." You spotted your suitcase near your parents. "Never been more ready." "That's what I like to hear." Everyone was now sitting on the couch. "Let's bow our heads and pray for a safe flight... Dear Heavenly Father, We thank you for this day and all that it shall bring. We know that every step today had been predetermined by You. We ask that you bless this family, keeping them together like glue. We also ask for a safe flight to our destination. We praise you in advance for all your many blessings. Thank you Lord, for all that you've done. May we lean not on our  own understanding. Keep us Father, in your mighty name Jesus we pray. Amen."  "Amen!!!!" Diggy held his head up, "I felt that one P." Seconds later there was a knock at the door. It was time to go! Everyone stood to their feet. You had your eyes focused on something though. The divorce papers were across the room. Hoping your parents would leave them, you kept a watch on them. With your mom and Perry out the door, your noticed your dad a bit finicky. He hurriedly ran over to the table to grab them. Daniel didn't notice so of course he just kept walking behind you. Your dad placed them inside his suitcase. He looked up and unfortunately noticed you noticing him... He had a look in his eyes that even I can't describe. You just turned your head and thought about what Dan said. You just hoped it would actually get better.

This is just the beginning, a new beginning. Like I said in my formal mssg to you, sometimes we gotta be away from something to appreciate it. Never have I appreciated you guys and my story so much.
