Zee's POV.

I walked into the house the next day and soon hear voices coming from the living room. I walked into the living room seeing Khun Mi.

"Khun Mi .." I said as she turned to me.

"Aow Zee .." she said as I greeted her. I then look at Nhu who is seated next to her with his head hung low.

"It's been awhile na .." she said as I nod , taking a seat on the sofa slowly.

"When did you arrive ?" I asked.

"Not long ago .." she said , smiling softly as she held Nhu's hand tightly.

"I hope Nhu hasn't give you a hard time .." she said as I glance at Nhu before smiling softly.

"No worries .. taking care of Nhu was actually fun .." I said making her chuckle , caressing Nhu's head.

- later -

I walked out to the pool area where Nhu is , sighing softly as I placed my hands into my pocket.

"Beautiful day huh .." I said , standing beside him as he kept quiet. I frown , looking at him as I pout slightly.

"Is it not a beautiful day ? Hm ?" I asked , chuckling softly but not earning nothing but silent.

"Zee .." he said softly making me hum.

"Why did you kiss me ?" He asked making me look at him as he slowly lift his head up.

"Last night .. you kissed me .. why ?" He asked as I look at him.

"Because I like you .." I answered with no hesitation.

"Like me ?" He asked.

"Yes , I like you .. Nunew." I said as I then slowly grabbed his hand ,  holding it tightly.

"I like you , Nunew Chawarin." I said as I stepped closer , caressing his cheek making him look up to me slowly. I was about to lean in when he push me away , moving his hand away from my grip.

"You can't like me , Zee ..." he said softly making me frown.

"You shouldn't like me .." he said.

"Nhu .. I.."

"We can never be more than what we are now. We are better off like this .. a patient and a care taker. That's all. I am .. sorry .." he said before walking away as I freeze in my spot. I could feel my heart beating slowly as if it was about to stop. I watch as Nhu left me by the pool. I clutch my fist , breathing out as I run my finger through my hair.

- next few days -

The next few days , Nhu has been giving me nothing but cold shoulder. After lunch , he would go straight to the room without saying a word , same goes for dinner. I watch as Nhu sat by the pool side as usual. I wanted to approach him but what he said before run into my mind.

"We can never be more than what we are now. We are better off like this .. a patient and a care taker. That's all. I am .. sorry .."

I sigh , walking away into the kitchen , leaving him alone.

- next day -

Nunew's POV.

This past few days , I never felt so alone. It was as if my life went back to the days before I met Zee. It was the days where I was all alone again and that my world turned darker than before.

"Yes , I'll leave as soon as possible , I got a flight to catch tonight .." I frown , hearing Mae's voice from her room. I stood up from my bed , grabbing my cane as I walked out of the room slowly. I held the wall for guidance as Mae's voice became louder and clearer.

"Yes , I am flying to Paris tonight .. I will be there for about 4-5 weeks .." she said making me frown.

"You're leaving again ?" I asked.

"Nhu .." I hear her say.

"You're leaving ... again .." I said.

"Honey .. I wish I could I stay but-."

"But work is more important than being with your blind son , am I right ?" I asked coldly.

"Nhu.. it's not like that na .." she said , holding both of my hands but I pulled them back.

"I should have known that you and Phaâw is no different." I said before walking out of the place. I walked towards my room , slamming the door. I breathed hard , feeling nothing but pain in my heart. I held my desk , breaking down.

"AHHH !!!" I shouted before sweeping everything off the table making glass breaks and crashing sound.

"Nhu ?!" I hear Mae shouted as I cried my lungs out.

Zee's POV.

I run upstairs hearing a loud crash , running to Nhu's room seeing a lot of his things messed up on the floor and broken glass.

"Nhu .. calm down na .." said Khun Mi as I breathe hard looking at Nhu. I look at Nhu who was holding a broken piece of glass in his hand making his palm bleed.

"Nhu ?!" I turn seeing Nat who just got back from school. His eyes widened seeing the situation.

"Nhu .. put the glass down na .." I said calmly as he sobbed.

"Nhu .. drop the glass na .." said Nat.

"Nhu .. honey , I am here .. Nat , call the doctor .. now !..." said Khun Mi as she inch closer. Nat nod ,

"Leave me alone !!" Shouted Nhu making Khun Mi flinched.

"I'll handle him .." I said softly making Khun Mi nod as she took a step back.

"Nhu .. calm down na .." I said , inching closer to him.

"Why does this have to happen to me ? .. why ?" He sobbed.

"Why is everyone leaving me ? .." he sobbed softly.

"I am not going to leave you .. I promise .." I said , inching closer.

"Just hand me the glass na ... I promise I'll take you to the beach again .. we can go feel the sunrise .. just you and me .." I continued making him sob.

"It's okay .. I am here .." I said softly.

"Here hand me the glass ... " I said calmly as I step closer to him. He sobbed as I walked to him slowly.

"I am here ..." I said softly as he cried. I reached out for the glass , grabbing it , not caring if it cuts through my palm.

"Let go .." I said softly as he slowly let go of the glass. I threw the glass away from us as I look at Nhu. I caressed his cheeks as he sobbed.

"Z-Zee .." he stuttered , revealing his red bloodshot eyes.

"Why does this happen to me ? .. what did I do to deserve this .." he sobbed shakily as I then pulled him to my embrace. The both of us dropped down to our knees slowly as I held him tightly against me.

"You're okay .. you going to be okay .. I promise .." I said , laying his head against my chest as I hold him in my arms.

"You're okay .. it's okay .." I said , soothing him as he shake in my arms. He held my arms tightly , hugging it. I pulled him closer , not caring about the sharp pain on my palm.

"I got you .. I promise .." I said softly , caressing his head gently and soothingly.
