Chapter eleven

**** Luke's POV***

The walk up to Nikki's apartment seemed treacherous. My head was heavy and my vision was shaky, it was as if I was high... but I hadn't had the slightest bit of drug in the past 24 hours.

As we approached her door my body seemed to return to normal, I had finally collected myself. I had to cool and collected for Nikki, I need to show her that I'm not the guy she's seen so far... Even though that's the guy I've been for the past two months.

"You ready?" I asked Zoe as I brought a fist up to knock on the door. But Zoe quickly swatted them away.

" Don't, I have a key, so if Nikki and Ashton are doing anything, we don't have to interrupt them," Zoe smiled at me, as she put the key into the lock and twisted the door handle. To reveille a tiny apartment... I really thought for the placement of it that it'd be larger and more decadent. Stepping in my body instantly felt relaxed and warm, presumably because the place had Nikki written all over it, from the furniture decor, and the fact that her scent lingered in the air... So obviously I couldn't help but have a fools smile appear on my face.

"Luke, wanna go upstairs? I think that's where they are, and by the fact that I can't hear any sexual noises I believe that it's safe." Zoe giggled at the last part, but all I wanted to do was vomit. I wish I could cuss Zoe out for all of her suggestions that Nikki, my Nikki, may be involved with Ashton. Like I wish she would have let me knock on the door, so that even though Zoe says she can't hear anything, I would have broken the two apart.

It hurts so much even to imagine another man having his hands on her... It's not just an emotional pain, but a physical one as well.

"Hopefully it's safe," I mumbled under my breath as I followed close behind Zoe up the stairs. With every step up the stairs she swayed her hips, and it was great since her ass was practically right on my face... Giving me the best view imaginable. She had to be doing it on purpose, trying to arouse me... let's just say that it work, I didn't have a full blown boner... But if the stairs hadn't ended when they did, I probably would have gotten one and taken her right then and there.

Damn it Luke! You're here for Nikki, to apologize and attempt to get your relationship back, not to fuck her best friend in her house.

Just as we got to the top of the stairs I saw her room... But what I saw on her bed made that feeling of nausea rise in my throat for the second time since I stepped foot in this apartment.

There were two shadows standing by the bedroom door, one being Nikki's and the other Ash's... As they pulled back, I got a view of her pale blue eyes, that held a lustful gaze with Ashton's.

My body was paralyzed, as Zoe stood next to me smirking in a happy way. I could not have wanted her more than I did right then, as their heads leaned in.

"Stop!"

I didn't realize I had said the words until there was a moment of silence and Ash's hand that was seconds before caressing my love's cheek- they way I had done this morning- while all eyes were on me.

Nikki looked so entirely innocent. Her skin had this weird mixture of pailing from embarrassment and blush from being caught. But as for Aston... He just looked incredibly surprised by the way I told them to stop... I hadn't yelled at them angrily, it was more of a scared little yelp, which would explain why I have a cold tear rolling down my cheek.

"Okay then... Nikki, Luke and I came here to apologize. But we can come back later if you guys are busy," Zoe paused turning towards Ashton, " But ashton you need to remember that there's a baby in that oven... So just don't go too fast or hard."

Anger rise in me a little. I don't want Ashton's cock going into Nikki, never mind close to MY baby. But the second I looked at Nikki, I calmed down... She just has that effect on me. And let me tell you she must have been embarrassed by her friends words as well since her cheeks turned into another shade of red.
