Her Seven Deadly Brothers (Part 1 and 2)

Chapter 32

A week later, Eleanora had gotten better. Her wound was healed but the scar remained behind to always remind her of the horror memory.

Lucifer had apologised to her but he refused to acknowledge Anastasia in it, much to Nora's annoyance but she was a little glad that Lucifer was now ok with her.

"I will be resuming offline school." Nora finally made up her mind. That is why she found herself with her twin brothers, on her way to the school.

"You will be alright." Angel comforted her and grabbed her hand in reassurance.

"I won't hesitate to kill someone who even dared to bat an eye on you." Even though Angel's voice was low but Nora became uneasy. Then, she slowly shook her head.

"Don't you think it's a bit too much. I don't think it would be needed."

Angel did not reply to her words but Nora knew better.

She looked up at Hades who was sleeping while laying not so in a comfortable position in the backseat.

She frowned a little.

Her lazy brother is used to fall asleep the moment he closes his eyes. It was kinda annoying. His laziness surpassed many levels.

"Oy Hades!" Angel called Hades, shaking him to wake up. Not surprisingly, the said person did not even budge.

Angel growled in frustration. Nora held back a giggle. It was amusing.

"Let's leave this lazy bastard here. It isn't like he won't fall asleep in the class." He rolled his eyes and motioned Nora to get out of the car.

Both of siblings made their way towards the entrance. As they passed by the first floor corridor, Nora went still. The usually chaotic hallway fell silent at her entrance. In the next moment, these eyes avoided her in a state of sudden panic and no one dared to open their mouth.

Nora did not see but at the same time Angel had held a gun in his hand, away from her sight, silently daring anyone to even say a word. He was not kidding when he said that he will kill each person who even looked at her in a wrong way.

Slowly, he pulled the gun away as his eyes fell on Ermanno De'Romano and his sister Anastasia De'Romano. Twins managed to see the gun he hid under his jacket, not that he was trying to hide this process from them too.

Anastasia looked away from Angel and fixated her eyes on Nora who was looking at her.

Though, Ermanno remained staring at Angel and then he huffed quietly.

"You gotta a problem kid?!" Angel took a step threateningly in Ermanno's direction who did not flinch a bit at the overwhelming presence of older man.

"I don't want to associate with the likes of you. And, don't call me kid."

Anastasia and Nora stared at the growing tension between Ermanno and Angel. They never really knew that both of their brothers do not get along with each other. Now it kinda explain how they never interacted openly before in front of them.

"Ana...m Let's get going."

Nora pulled her away from a supposed 'argument' or perhaps 'fight' between their brothers.

"I will join you in a bit." Ermanno said to his twin with a blank look on his face and looked up at Angel who was staring at him with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"What's up with these two?" Nora frowned.

"Ahmm." Both girls paused in the doorway of their classroom and looked back to see a brunette standing behind them. Nora recognized her as the topper in their class. But she forgot her name.

"Well both of your brothers have quite a history. I thought I should tell you." She paused taking in their expressions.

"News flash: Last year Ermanno's last girlfriend was caught sleeping with the senior Angel. That's why both of them can't tolerate each other." She shrugged.

"Really?" Nora doubted. Angel was 'Angel' in her eyes. The sudden discovery  made her uncomfortable.. Angel would have been 17 and that girl must be of Ermanno's age like 14 or 15 a year ago.

"Angel was the biggest playboy but as soon as you returned, he kinda changed. He doesn't sleep around anymore. Be it a fling or his actual date. Rumours are that he's gay now. But it isn't like he is sleeping around guys too." The topper shrugged, her arms crossed over her chest.

Poor Anastasia was confused at their words. What's wrong with sleeping with someone or sharing beds?

Anastasia kept her thoughts to herself as usual...

"Well. I don't want to talk about this anymore. It's his life and his choices. He can do whatever he want." Nora said and tugged Anastasia into the room..

The rest of the day went by in a blink and soon the siblings were back to their respective homes.

Nora was on her way upstairs but her way was blocked by Lucifer.

"I made something. Come with me." Then he started tugging her in the direction of kitchen.

First thing Nora noticed was the awful burning smell in the kitchen. It made her scrunch her nose in distaste.

"What is this Luciii?" She was looking around the mess in the kitchen.

"Ignore it. Servants can clean. Just look at this."

He lifted the lid covering the plate to reveal 'Apple pie'.

"I made this for you. You better respect your most favourite brother." He waved the spatula threateningly at her.

Nora laughed out loud at his antics.

"Ok mr. Favourite."

She tasted the pie and her eyes widened in amazement.

"I know.... I know, I know I could be a master chef." Lucifer said nonchalantly. Nora opened her mouth to speak but got cut off as his phone started ringing.

He looked down to see Vincent was calling him.

"I gotta take this. You enjoy hmm." Saying this, he started to walk out of there but Nora grabbed his hand stopping him.

He turned around as she wrapped her arms around him.

"Thank you. And, if you stop being kind of jerk then you could be my most favourite brother."
