Twelve: Teenage Love Affair.

"I just hope you guys are being safe?"

I blushed as I took a step closer to Jaheim, intertwining my arm with his. "We not there yet."

"I love her though, for a fact." Jaheim said pulling me closer to him.

Cimani smiled as she gushed at us. "Awe you guys are too cute. Look, Jaheim I fuck wit' you but you gotta go. This one has to get ready."

Jaheim threw his hands up in defense. "My bad big sis, I was just leaving." Cimani embraced him a hug before turning to me.

"I'll let yall say yall goodbye's." She said as she made her way back to the kitchen.

Turning to Jaheim I couldn't help but to smile. "Well that went better than I expected."

Jaheim let out a sigh of relief, "Shit me too, I know how girls get tho. Ya' nosey so I know she gon ask yo ass a million questions later."

I let out a laugh also, "She sure is." I wrapped my arms around his neck as I stood on my tip toes to place a kiss on his lips. "I'll see you later babe."

"Fasho." He said as he made his way outside.

I couldn't help but to make my way to the kitchen, I sat in one of the chairs with my hand holding up my face as I tapped at the counter.

"So." I started as I watched Ezriah and Cimani flirt as they put away the groceries. "How do you know Jaheim, Ezirah?"

Ezriah removed his hands from Cimani's waist, making his way towards the island. "He grew up in the same neighborhood as me. I look at him like a little brother, I watched him grow up."

Cimani made her way to the island, taking a seat next to me. "How old is he?"

I hesitated before answering her question, "Um, he'll be twenty next month."

Cimani's eyebrow raised "Hm, that's not bad considering you're eighteen now."

"You love him?" Was her next question.

I tucked my bottom lip in, as I thought hard about her question. It was no doubt that I had love for him, but was I in love with him?

"I do." I said as I sat back in my chair, Ezirah raised his eyebrows.

"Do you love him?" I asked as I pointed to Ezirah

Ezriah froze in his tracks as Cimani's eyes got wide, I could tell my question caught both of them off guard.

"I mean, I know it's been a short amount of time but..love can happen at any time."

Cimani let out a low laugh, not an hysteric laugh but an 'I can't believe what I'm hearing' laugh. "Girl, what?"

"Never mind." I said as I let out a dramatic sigh. I made my way to the fridge, opening a yogurt and making my way back to my room.

"Be ready by 6 girl!" Cimani yelled.
