"They said the end is coming
Everyone's up to something
I find myself running home to your sweet nothings."

- Sweet Nothing by Taylor Swift

As the bell rang announcing the end of my English class, I took my things and thanked Mr. D for the class. As soon as I left the classroom I made my way to my locker and started looking for the books I needed for the homework assigned.

Today Mrs. G, the history teacher for normal history class, gave me detention for literally saying the truth. Normally I had advanced history class, but Mr. B was sick so he asked his class to go to Mrs. G's classroom to take our daily lessons. The problem was that Mrs. G was the opposite of Mr. B because, while Mr. B loved having debates in his class, Mrs. G hated being contradicted. So because I simply shared my opinion she rapidly shot me down and gave me detention.

As I was making my way to the detention classroom I couldn't help but notice a group of students surrounding a boy while laughing at something. As I got closer I could see Lloyd Garmadon's blond hair and green hoodie sticking out of the circle.

Why can't they leave him alone? I thought. The joke is already getting old.

Every day, just like clockwork, the group of Chen, the most popular kids at school, had their ten minutes of hate on Lloyd. It was unfair and painful to see. But everyone knew that if you stepped in you would end up suffering as much as him, or maybe worse.

So, as hard as it already was, I turned right and opened the door to the detention classroom. As I closed the door my heart ached at the sounds of more laughs coming from the bullies.

As I entered the classroom of detention I couldn't help but notice I was the only one there.

Unbelievable! I thought. No one else had gotten detention today but me?

"Take a seat, Miss Evans," said Mrs. W.

I did as I was asked and took my seat. The classroom was like any other classroom around the school, only that this one was decorated with maps. If my memory didn't fail me this was the AP Human Geography classroom.

Oh God, what a nightmare of AP! I thought remembering the day I had taken the exam, the way I had to answer the multiple choice questions in so short time had taken me off guard. The only positive thing about that class was Mr. C that made each class unique and entertaining. I couldn't help but smile at the memory of his classes.

Mrs. W. was sitting at the teacher's desk and seemed to be correcting some exams. Luckily Mrs. G wasn't the one assigned to detention today because the only thing that could make things worse was being in a room alone with that crazy old lady. Finally, I opened my notebook and started doing my math homework.

I was already halfway through my homework when the door opened revealing a tall girl of about 5,6 feet tall with her black hair tight in a ponytail wearing a black leather jacket. She scanned the room with her intense blue ocean eyes which for a moment stopped on me, she looked at me for a moment thinking: What the hell is a girl like her doing here? I wish I knew myself.

Mrs. W cleared her throat, "Miss Smith, please, take a seat."

"This is detention classroom, right?" asked the girl.
