Love is the most unreasonable feeling in the entire world. You will never be able to reason out why you love someone. If you can you aren't in love because it's always "I love you for who you are".

Abhinash's POV

Our gaze never left each other's side as I stood back watching her.

She nervously traced her fingers over her shoulders. Her movements getting more and more hesitant. I noticed a small box and note lying on the table. I'm sure I haven't given it to her. Was there someone else in the room?

"What do you see in the mirror?"

"You and me."

"Wrong. What do you see in yourself?"

"My dress."

"Wrong. Try again."

"My scars."

"Wrong."

I slowly walked towards her.

"Can I?" I asked indicating to her back strings.

"Hmm"

I touched her back slightly as she shivered beneath my touch.

"Relax. Don't avert your eyes from the mirror."

I pulled her strings tightening each side and tied a knot. My hands falling on her shoulders as I moved them down to her hands.

"What do you see in the mirror? Are they scars?"

"No. It's us."

"Yes. That's the correct answer."

"Inaya. When I fell for you it wasn't just because you are beautiful. I fell in love with your fears, your uncertainty, your pain, your scars and your past. I fell in love with all of you. I want you to see how beautiful you are. You are the beat to my heart. You are the one breath my body craves for. You are the cure to all my emotional illness and traumas. You aren't defined by your scars. You aren't defined by the people around you. You define yourself. Tell me. Do you see a beautiful girl in the mirror?"

"Yes."

"Is she afraid of her scars anymore?"

"No"

"Is she ready to face the world?"

"Yes."

I turned her around slowly as her eyes found their way to my face. She immediately closed her arms around me.

"I love you Abhi!" She whispered into my ears.

"I love you too my queen." I said holding her tightly.

"Now sit down and let us complete your look." I said as we broke the hug.

"Do you trust me Abhi?" She asked softly.

"You want me to tell you? Isn't it obvious?" I asked confused as though why is she suddenly so uncertain of something.

"Tell me Abhi. I want to hear it."

"I do love. More than you think."

"If you ever feel your trust breaking, just look at me once. If I blink my eyes twice and if you ever loved me for a second, trust me for the moment. Promise?" She asked forwarding her pinky finger.

"I promise." I said interlocking my finger with hers.

Time skip*

She got ready and asked me to wait outside for a minute.
