~ Chapter 9 ~ I Care About You..

~ Neuvillette's Perspective ~

I woke up and opened my eyes to find Wriothesley, Above me? I turned my head slight bit only to find out that Wriothesley was holding me? I was in his arms while he sat on an infirmary bed.

I just continued to lay in his arms while staring at his face, I turned to look at something he was looking at and he noticed I moved but when his eyes locked on mine and his eyes Immediately lit up.

" Neuvillette! Your awake!" He exclaimed

I just kept quiet and stared at him blankly while he held me in his arms as I had no idea what was going on.

" Oh right-"

He let me go from his embrace, and I sat up next to him on an infirmary bed.

" Care to explain Your Grace?" I asked

" Oh I'll explain alright, after you Left me when you saw me on a bench crying. I couldn't help but follow you, I followed you to your home while keeping a big distance so you could not feel or sense me, then I just stopped at a mountain near your house a few minutes after you entered your home, a few hours passed by and I knocked on your door only to not get a response, I knocked harder and even shouted your name a few times, but still no answer. So then I took matters into my own hands and broke your door open and th-."

" You broke my door." I repeated

" Y- Yes.., Look I'm sorry but It's kind off a good thing I did."

" And why would you suppose that's a good idea?" I asked

" Well because, when I opened or well broke your door, I found you on your Couch unconscious, you face red, your eyes extremely puffy and you just looked so unwell so I took you to Meropide's Infirmary." He answered

" Me unconscious?"

" Believe it or not you were unconscious."

" You know I can charge you for stalking." I said Bluntly

" You could.." He answered

" Your Grace I-"

" Just call me Wriothesley." He Interrupted me

Sigh..

" Wriothesley, what led you to do all of this?"

" Becuase.. well Because.." He answered

" Because what?" I replied

" Neuvillette. I- I- I Care About You. You may not care about me much but I really care about you and your well being.." He replied

After he said that I was quiet and trying to process what he said, He cares about me? No one has ever told me that before.. Just as I was still in shock I could see him getting Nervous as I wasn't responding.

" Silent treatment.. Alright." He mumbled

I just couldn't say anything, I forced myself to but all I could do is just Stare at him in shock.
But then I realized I really need more time to think about this.

So I got up without saying a word and Left the Infirmary.

~ Wriothesley's Perspective ~

Damn. and that isn't supposed to hurt? Not a single word just running away. Typical Neuvillette. I feel really hurt by this I won't lie. But I'm unsure why, I can't possibly be falling for the Ludex of Fontaine.. no that's crazy and I'm not, I reassured myself

As I was walking out of the infirmary I knew that Colette had to know about all this that is happening. I decided to call her and ask if I could go to her house tomorrow.

" Hello?" She asked

" Hey Colette, Mind if I come to your house tomorrow?"

" No, I don't mind at all but is everything alright?"

" Yeah.. everything is fine, I guess."

" Wriothesley are you sure."

" yes.. Colette I'm su- sure."

" Wriothesley you don't sound ok, should I come?"

" There's no need for you to come, I'll see you tomorrow.

" Wriothesley But I-"

I Hung up the call as I just couldn't take another word, I needed to be alone for the rest of the day.

~ Colette's Perspective ~

He's not okay, I can hear it and I can feel it. Archons.. Please protect Wriothesley make him not do anything Stupid, I beg of you.

~ Neuvillette's Perspective ~

He cares about me..? But that doesn't make any sense. How could a Mortal care for a Sovereign? Oh right.. he doesn't know.

" I Can't.." I whispered

" You can't do what Neuvillette?" Furina Replied

" Oh- nothing Lady Furina."

" Spit it Out."

" I beg your Pardon?"

" Spit it Out, Neuvillette."

I just kept quiet and stare at her in confusion.

" Oh my archons, What can't you do?" She shouted

" I don't' t recall that being any of your business Lady Furina." I snapped

" This Ludex is angry today.." She mumbled

As I was about to retort back, but she did something I would have not expected, She turned to me looking empathetic and to know if I really was ok, Hence it was rare that I snapped at her.

" Neuvillette.." Her soft voice spoke

" I-."

" Hush my dear Ludex, What is on your mind to make you snap out like that?" She asked with the kindest Softest voice I could ever hear

I couldn't help but Think about all that I've done Wrong to Wriothesley. Then it started raining.

" Aw- Neuvillette, stand up for me will you?" She asked

I did as she asked and stood up she then got up from the chair in Front of me and wrapped her arms around me. As she did so It all came out, I kneeled down Burying my head in her shoulder. Soon after water came down from my eyes. Too much to stop, Rain naturally only started getting heavier.

" My dear Neuvillette, What is troubling you?" She asked Softly

I Couldn't Reply all I could do was stay there kneeling, my head in the corner of her shoulder with these streams of water constantly coming from my eyes.
