Russo joined arsenal a few months ago and I'm not gonna lie we haven't seen eye to eye really... well actually I'd say she's trying to make an effort with me which she's not receiving back from me at all

The problem is I have trust issues... my mind just thinks of crazy excuses or reasons why not to trust someone and once I've got that thought in my head it's hard to let go off.

"I mean how do we know she isn't gonna go running back to Man Utd and tell them all our plans for the future or our team secrets?" I rambled out to Leah and Lia, who's somewhat were like parents to me.

"Come on Evan she's here to stay, she's got a 3 year contract and seems to be putting her whole heart into this club" Leah tried to reason with me

"Or it's just an act?"

"She wouldn't take this amount of abuse of Man Utd fans and hate from other clubs fans for switching clubs if she wasn't fully into this club" Lia said

"She hasn't got the heart to do that Evan, she's one of the kindest girls I've ever met" Leah added

I shrugged and looked over at Russo, who was sitting with vic and Lotte

"Why don't you try to get to know her, then you can see what type of person she is" Lia suggested

"I'm alright thanks" I said standing up quickly making the chair stretch against the floor, I looked around and saw Russo looking at me, I turned away and grabbed my bottle before leaving the room.

Alessia's pov:

We heard a chair screech against the floor making all of us look in the direction of the noise, once the other two found out who it was they looked away but i continued to stare

Evan looked over at me before quickly diverting her eyes to her table and picking up her bottle and then leaving the room

"Why does Evan not like me?" I questioned looking back at the two girls in front of me

"She'll warm up to you eventually" Lotte said giving a vague answer

"It's been over 3 months Lotte, she's had enough time to "warm up to me" I said

" I don't think it's our place to tell you" vic spoke up

"Place to me what?" I said confused

"Look she has trust issues, she took time to get use to me and took time to get use to vic" Lotte said

"She's just taking a lot of time to get use to you that's all..." vic added rubbing the back of her neck

"She can't get use to me if she hasn't even talked to me before" I shrugged

"She only really trusts Lia and Leah to be honest and that's because they have been around for ages, Evan came up through the academy and Leah did so Evan and Leah knew each other quite well and then Wally got close with Leah and showed Evan that she could trust her" Lotte said

"And how did she do that?"

"I think Leah helped with it a lot, Evan saw how close Leah got with wally and because she already trusted Leah she sorted gained trust for Wally quite quickly, also helped that wally was there for Evan when leah was there as well" vic told me

"Don't think to much into it, just focus on your football and she'll start warming up to you soon" Lotte patted my shoulder before standing up and telling us we have training
