CH.35- mahabharat Day 11

Today was a difficult morning knowing I'm going to war against tatshree

And pitamahi had done the opposite of what I said.. I asked her to reveal the truth to everyone

Not just tatshree, I'm starting to doubt if the tears I saw yesterday were sincere or not because there's a chance they were fake and her promise was just an excuse to make tatshree emotionally weak and protect her legitimate sons

The more I think like this, a part of me feels guilty for thinking about pitamahi, someone who is older than me and has always showered me with love, like this but then I'm reminded of her other deeds...

As we make our way to the battlefield, I can already see tatshree at the front, accompanied by yuvraj duryodhan and guru dron

Mahabharat Day 11

Duryodhana makes Drona the supreme commander of the Kaurava forces according to Karna's advice. Duryodhana wants to capture Yudhishthira alive; killing Yudhishthira in battle would only enrage the Pandavas more, while holding him as a hostage would be strategically useful. Drona cuts down Yudhishthira's bow, and Arjuna stops Drona from capturing Yudhishthira.

It had barely been an hour since today's war ended

I was in my tent pacing around

"Enough!" I tell myself!

"I have been quiet for too long! How! Just how can i forget staying quiet is worse than doing something! How can i forget the adharm committed by the elders during the dyut sabha!"

"I have come to terms with this fact way too late! I know i promised mamashree not to tell anyone but...

He never said anything about writing about it...

I smile so evilly, i get terrified thinking i look like gandharraj

I rush to my table and start scribbling down a letter

Greetings yuvraj duryodhan,

Quite recently, I've learned something rather disturbing, Angraj karna isn't who he believes himself to be, he isn't a sutputra and he isn't the son of mahoday adhirath and devi radha, the truth is he is the firstborn of maharani Kunti who abandoned him as a baby since she had him before her marriage and had to protect her modesty, just like the pandavas, Angraj karna is the mantra prasad of Surya dev. Which is why he has a sun emblem on his forehead and it's also how he had divine kavach and kundals. I know it may be hard to believe but you can ask Angraj himself to satisfy your doubts.

I request you to not be angry or hurt at Angraj not telling you this as he himself didn't know about his true identity till 2 days ago, and Angraj refused to join the pandava's side even after knowing he's their eldest. He was bribed with the throne but his mind stayed firm. He spoke of rather going to war with his brothers than betraying his friend.

You truly are lucky to have a friend like him yuvraj.

I apologise for writing like this but I vow that everything I have written down is true, not a single lie

And you know a vow is of more importance than ones life for a kshatriya

I chose to stay anonymous as believing this in the first place would be hard but knowing you're enemies son was telling you this would kill all chances of him believing me

I hope this is convincing enough
I thought to myself

I summoned an eagle from my tents window, before attaching the letter to the eagle's leg and sending it off

The kaurava camp is barely 10 minutes away but sending the letter through an eagle would make it less obvious that it is from the pandava camp

I walked back to my seat and began to think if what I had done was right..
