Sid just wanted to escape Shriya's complaints. Shriya just wanted to go home. And Saanvi? She probably just wished for some good sleep after a hectic month of pre boards. But fate AND a very suspicious auto driver seemed to have other plans. Now, the only way back home is by finding that auto, which is no longer "available for ride" on Ola or Uber, and has probably disappeared into another century for it's next ride! You make your way to the building, uncertainty lingering in your brain, but the curiosity tugging at your heart wins you over. As you reach the door, you notice that it is unlocked, but you have to struggle a bit to open the old, heavy thing. At last, you manage to open it, and you see shelves and shelves, decorated with neatly arranged books from a bygone era. They have collected dust from sitting there for God knows how long. At that moment, you know. You may not know how or why you got here, but now, this feels like home. Your hands reach for a book that seems right to you, and now, you are no more than a silent spectator, as the characters you read about come alive in a reality that your mind has created.
