Kathleen started running after the whistle blew and the timer was set. She finished the 100 meters and gasped for breath.

"3.....2....." the coach counted down.

"You should have finished it earlier as compared to your previous record," he said. Kathleen asked, "Where's Sara?" still out of breath. The coach replied sternly, "You should focus on yourself right now, Kathleen." "How fast do you want me to run? Should I start flying?" Kathleen replied impatiently, looking around for Sara.

Twenty minutes later, Sara arrived on the running track in her running outfit. "Sorry I'm late," she said, coming to Kathleen. "Where were you!?" Kathleen asked in an angry tone. "Today is my parents' death anniversary," Sara said in a sorrowful tone. "I'm sorry," Kathleen said. Her voice was now calm, and she was no longer angry.

Sara's parents passed away when she was merely 6 years old. However, at the tender age of 7, she met Kathleen, and the two of them formed an unbreakable bond, growing up together like sisters for a whole decade

"If you don't feel like running, Sara, you can take the day off," the coach said with concern. "I'm good, coach. I'll run," Sara replied firmly with a confident smile.

"You're welcome to stay at my place tonight," Kathleen said, warming her hands.

"Thanks, I appreciate it," Sara said, taking a swig from her water bottle.

Kathleen grinned. "Wanna have a match?"

Sara rolled her eyes. "You know you'll beat me. But sure, let's do it."

As they started running, Kathleen noticed someone was watching them from behind a tree. She didn't want to alarm Sara, so she tried to act normal. "Getting dark, should we head back?" she asked.

Sara looked up at the sky. "Yeah, we should."

They packed up their things and headed for home.

*At Home*

Kathleen ended the call, "Whom you were talking with?" Sara asked while drinking the shake she made for both of them "Joshua" Kathleen said with a smile "Is he coming over?" Sara asked teasingly "Yes, Get ready for his non-funny jokes" Kathleen said while laughing lightly.

Joshua is Kathleen's boyfriend, they met two months ago, When Kathleen got hurt while running he was the one who ran to help her, after that, they both got close and started dating

*Bell rang*

"I guess it's Josh, let me go and open the door" Kathleen said while getting up from the couch where they were sitting watching their favorite show on television

Kathleen opened the door "HEY DARLING" Joshua said loudly making Kathleen cover her ears "Why are you so loud" Kathleen said in annoyance. "Aww I missed you so much" Joshua hugged Kathleen tightly and did fake crying "Don't be dramatic, Sara is over here" Kathleen said in low voice "WHAT SARA BABY IS ALSO HERE" Joshua said while making his way to lounge where Sara was sitting "BABY! DID YOU JUST SAY BABY?" Kathleen said in an overdramatic high voice "Oh let me complete my sentence, she's my baby sister, I'm sorry" Joshua bowed to Kathleen "Do you think you are funny?" Sara said while playing with the TV remote "I guess I am" Joshua replied with a pout "WANNA HEAR A JOKE" Joshua said with excitement "Not again!" Sara replied while covering her face with the cushion "Now you have to listen" Joshua said with a big smile "Why couldn't the bicycle stand on its own?" "Why !?" both Sara and Kathleen replied at the same time "Because it was two tired." both Sara and Kathleen were staring at him in disbelief "Wasn't that funny?" Joshua said while laughing awkwardly and scratching his head "NEVERMIND I HAVE ANOTHER ONE" "NOOOOO." Kathleen and Sara replied at once

"Josh, I have something important to tell you," Kathleen said with her arms crossed.
"What is it, Darling?" Joshua replied with his sweetest smile.
"Come with me," Kathleen insisted.
"Ummm, what is it?" Josh replied with a naughty smirk.
"JOSHHHH!" Kathleen said sternly.
"OK, ok, don't be angry. I'm coming," Joshua replied as he followed Kathleen to the kitchen.
"Something happened?" Joshua asked Sara.
"I don't know, but best of luck, hehe," Sara replied with a smile.
