Years slipped away like a fleeting dream, and Mullai found herself marveling at the fact that three years had swiftly passed since she had been bound to Kathir.

These three years, she mused, were a blend of sweetness and bitterness, a journey through the highs and lows of life.

She termed it bittersweet, as within these years, Mullai had encountered moments of joy as well as challenges.

In the dance of matrimony, both Mullai and Kathir had experienced the ebb and flow of their relationship. They had their fair share of fights and quarrels, but what set them apart was their ability to make amends before the day drew to a close.

In the tapestry of time, both had undergone significant changes. They willingly adapted certain aspects of their personalities for the sake of their partner, rejecting the notion that "I am like this, and you have to accept me as I am."

It was a conscious decision to evolve together, to grow as individuals while harmonizing with each other.

As husband and wife, Kathir and Mullai comprehended that for a family to flourish, sacrifices were inevitable. They embraced flexibility, adjusting to the ever-changing circumstances that surrounded them.

In these adaptations lay the silver lining, the resilience that fortified the foundations of their union.
Amidst the challenges, there were also sweet, romantic moments and playful banter that etched unforgettable memories.

Mullai fondly recalled one such instance when Kathir had surprised her with the gift of a puppy, a gesture that resonated with love and warmth.

"Mullai, va da balcony ku. Oru surprise iruku."kathri called her fondly.

Mullai who was cooking in the kitchen was had her eyes and mind totally on crafting the design of cashwes and pistas on kesari. She refused to let anything waver her concentration. So she yelled from the kitchen.

" Enna surprise? Enna aachu?"

Kathir just grinned and yelled backed" Va vandhu paar".

Mullai, curious, follows Kathir to the balcony where a Siberian Husky puppy with striking blue eyes and a fluffy coat awaits.

The amber glow of the setting sun bathes the balcony, highlighting the excitement in Kathir's eyes, as if the universe conspired to cast a spotlight on this moment of anticipation.

"Oh my god! Ithu real ah?" she gasped lookin in awe at  the fluffly ball of cuteness

" Aama, meet our new family member. Naan ninaichathu, konjam extra joy venum nu." he replied looking her fondly as she lit up like a christmas tree.

The air is filled with the crisp evening breeze, carrying the scent of anticipation as Mullai takes in the sight of the adorable husky, its fur resembling the downy clouds painted by the departing sun.

"Kathir, ithu nejamava ah?  I've always dreamt of having a husky!?

"Dreams should come true, love.
Mullai, overcome with emotion, kneels down to pet the husky, feeling the softness of its fur and the warmth of its presence, like the embrace of a long-awaited dream.

"Ithu peru enna?" she asked with excitement as the puppy found comfort under the warmth of her hand cooing it.

"Nambha rendu perum sendu vaikanum nu nenachen. Un suggestion?" he asked.

The balcony is now adorned with the joyful barks and playful energy of the husky, creating an enchanting atmosphere, a symphony of newfound happiness.
