7.Will you go on a date?

"I hope you two got to talk when these 3 were lingering around you despite our warnings." Mrs. Malhotra(chachi) said glaring at her children.

"Mom! You know we never disturb anyone!" Aryan said teasingly.

"Of course son. You don't disturb. You are the troublemaker." Mr. Malhotra (chachu) said sarcastically as the entire dining burst out laughing.

"Tai ji! Dekho na sab kaise chidha rahe hain mujhe!" Aryan said whining.
[Look Uncle! Everyone is teasing me!]

"Accha accha ab mere bacche ko koi kuch nahi kahega. Chalo sab khana shuru karte hain." Mrs. Malhotra said.
[Ok now no one will say anything to my child.]

"Love you taiji!" Aryan said as we all dig into our food.

As we were eating I could see Abhinash not paying attention to his food. He's into some mischief. Just then he dropped his glass of water on himself and everyone snapped their heads towards him.

"Arrey Abhinash beta are you okay?" Ma asked with concern ladden eyes.

"I'm okay I just need to clean this up." He said standing up.

I turned slightly to see his family's reaction who are silent the whole time. Mrs. Malhotra is giving a knowing smile? Why?

"Yeah sure beta..Inay-

"Rukiye Mrs. Verma. Ishika! Please beta Jao bhaiya ko washroom ka raasta dikha do." Mrs. Malhotra said interrupting whatever Ma was saying.
[Wait Mrs. Verma. Ishika! Please direct Bhai to the washroom beta!]

The entire Malhotra family started giggling except Abhinash who was glaring at all of them. Seems like someone's plan didn't go as directed.

"Ji aunty. Aaiye bhaiya." Ishika said getting up and they both went to the washroom.
[Ok aunty. Let's go Bhai][Bhai:brother]

They both went and as we started eating my phone rang. Why are they calling now?

"I have to take this call. Please excuse me." I said and stood up.

"It's fine beta. Take your call." Mr. Malhotra said. They all have an understanding nod and continued their conversation.

Abhinash's POV

"Bhai tell me honestly you did it on purpose right?" Ishika asked wiggling her eyebrows as we proceeded towards the washroom.

"If it's to spend time with her, I can make a castle for just her and me." And I meant it.

"Oh God Bhai you are already whipped huh." She said making a 'Oh' expression.

"Dare tease me and I won't save you from Aryan's teasings anymore." I said faking a glare at her.

"Ok no more teasings." She sealed the imaginary chain on her lips locked the key and put it in her pocket.

I washed my outfit and we proceeded towards the dining as I heard Inaya's muffled voices from the room.

"Ishika! You go. I think I forgot my handkerchief in the room. I will go fetch it." I told her.

"You sure just forgot your handkerchief and not your heart?" She asked teasingly as she turned back.

"Want me to remind you that hearts don't have the ability to think and-"

"Okay okay Doctor I will leave." She said turning away and almost ran downstairs.

I followed Inaya's voice to the room.

"Don't you dare think about it. We all have suffered enough. I won't tolerate any more harm to the two families. I would make sure you see it to your end." She said raising her voice slightly. Who is she talking to?
