Narinig kong sabay na sigaw nina kuya Lhar at kuya Benj nang mag-collapse ako sa upuan.
Nanlambot ang mga tuhod ko sa narinig na balita. There’s no way something like that could
happen to kuya… There’s just no way…
“Hey, you alright? Sino ba yung tumawag at bakit lalong tumatagal ay namumutla ka?” tanong ni
kuya Benj.
“Si kuya…”
“What happened to him? Siya ba yung tumawag?” tanong naman ni kuya Lhar.
I shook my head.
“Nope… h-hindi si kuya ang tumawag kundi isang nurse ng hospital…”
“Nurse? Tsaka hospital? Bakit? May anong nangyari sa kanya?” nag-aalala nang tanong ni kuya
Benj.
“He’s wounded. Marami daw siyang sugat at marami rin dawng dugo ang nawala sa kanya…”
“What?? Sa anong hospital siya ngayon? Puntahan na natin!” sabi ni kuya Lhar habang
inalalayan akong makatayo.
I don’t think so if kaya kong makatayo ng ayos without kuya’s help. My legs feel like jelly that I have
no strength at all. The mere thought of kuya Jerwin being bloody and lots of wound makes me faint
right then and there. But I have to hold myself together to be able to go to kuya. He needs me…

And I almost lost my consciousness to hear that he’s now at the Operating Room. They said that he
needs to be operated as soon as possible cause of internal hemorrhage in his head.
