Freya's POV
In the evening:
Tony called all of us to the meeting room "What is it Tony?" Nat asked him "They struck the city again, the Master" he told all of us "That bastard can't leave my sister alone now, can he?" Thor said annoyed

"If he wants to fight, let's fight" Sam said "I want you guys to promise me something, if it comes to saving the city or me- you save the city" I told them "Don't be stupid, we work together" Steve said to me "No Steve, I do not want to risk losing anyone else because of me and that is final" I declared and left the room

I got to my room and started to get ready when Steve walked in "You should really not make this a habit" I said not looking at him "Make what a habit?" "You coming to my room when I am getting ready cause the last time you did we..." I paused not wanting to say anything else "We what?" he asked

"We...slept together anyways what do you want?" I asked trying to change the subject "Oh...okay I'm just going to say...I won't leave you behind Freya" he said looking down "You don't have a choice. I will take you down if I have to" I said sternly

"No Freya, I'm not leaving you behind. No matter what!" he exclaimed and I didn't know what to say. I walked up to him and cupped his face. He looked up at me "I lost you once because of them. I am not going to let that happen again" I rubbed his cheek and he looked at me sadly

"Save the city Steve. Do this one thing for me" "Whatever it takes" he said holding onto my hand on his face. Suddenly, Bucky walked in and looked surprised "Whoa! Uh.. you guys good to go?" "We are ready" I kissed his cheek and headed out

Bucky's POV
Freya left and I looked at Steve "What was that?" "What was what?" he asked back "I saw the both of you" I said and he looked away

"It was nothing, I told her I wouldn't leave her behind and she said she'd fight me if I didn't" "Okay, okay, then what happened? I saw you holding her hand and her kissing your cheek"

"You know what Buck? I don't know. It just felt right. I don't know why but all I want to do is protect her, even if she doesn't want me too" he admitted and I smiled "That's called love pal. Freya was right, the mind may forget but the heart never will" I said and left
