Thor's POV We won the battle but Captain and Barnes went missing. We told Fury and he sent scouts to search for them. Sister hasn't talked to anyone since the Battle. We all were in the living room when Fury came to the compound to give us the news.
"I'm sorry to inform but the scouts couldn't locate Barnes or Steve's body, they are gone" Fury declared "What do you mean gone?' Freya walked into the room and I stared sadly at her not knowing what to tell her. Loki and I approached her.
"Why are looking at me like that,what do you mean gone? Brother please say something" she begged us "I am sorry sister but he is gone" Loki told her "No. No. No, you are lying. He cannot be gone" she stepped back.
She fell to the ground and screamed. The room started shaking violently and the windows shattered. I knelt down and hugged her and tried to calm her down "I am sorry sister, please calm down" i comforted her "I cannot. I cannot... take. this" she stuttered
"I know, I know" I told her and she continued crying and I looked at what she had done with just her voice. I took her to her room and she cried in my arms. After sometime she fell asleep,I put a blanket over her and went to the other Avengers.
"So your sister can destroy things with her voice?" Wanda asked me as I walked in "Yes, she can. She always tries to control her voice but sometimes.." "She can't stop herself" Loki finished for me "When was the last time she lost control?" Nat asked
"When we thought Loki died" I told them. "If we knew she could destroy things with her voice, we could have used it" Sam said "No!" Loki yelled and everyone stared at him
"Why?" Pietro asked him "You saw what see just did, her voice is too strong and dangerous" Loki told them and I nodded "She can't stay here, it's not good for her" Wanda told us
"Can't you take her back to Asgard?" Nat asked us "No, it will be too much for her" I argued "She can stay with me in the countryside, being with the kids might be good for her" Clint suggested
"We can't just send her away" Tony argued "Tony if she stays here, her trauma will haunt her" Wanda told him "It's settled, sister will go with Clint" I declared
Freya's POV I woke up and I started remembering Steve.
"Tried already Rogers" I asked smirking "I can do this all day Odindottir" he leaned above me and we started kissing again
Just then Nat and Wanda walked in "How are you holding up?" Nat asked me and they came and sat next to me "I miss him so much...it hurts" I admitted to her and Wanda hugged me "Will this pain ever go away?" I asked her
"Eventually...it'll get easier and the aching will hurt less. I promise" Wanda told me and I started crying "I don't want this to be over because when it is over I have to admit that.... that he is gone... forever" Wanda separated from me "What if I am not ready?" i asked them
"You don't have to be, just know that he loved you. He loved you with all his heart" Nat told me
Author's POV After saying goodbye to everyone Freya heads to Clint's place. "Hey honey" Clint said to a woman as the both of you went in and kissed her "Freya, this is Laura" Clint introduced her to Freya
"Hi, Clint told me all about you" Laura said to Freya "It's nice to meet you too and thanks for having me" "It's our pleasure. Here come the troublemakers" Three kids came downstairs and Clint hugged them
"Kids,listen up. This is Freya, she will be staying with us for a while. Freya, this is Copper, Lila and Nathaniel" Clint told and introduced them to Freya. Lila went up to her.
"Hi there" Freya said to her "Do you want to see my room?" Lila asked her "Of course, I would love to see your room" Lila took Freya to her room
Freya's POV After I saw Lila's room, I went and started unpacking when I saw something packed between my clothes. I took it out and saw a file
