It was 3 pm and I had 3 hours to get ready for auroras house. I know I shouldn't be doing too much but I loved looking good because it made me feel good. I showered and wore a simple black mini skirt with a long sleeved red fitted but loose blouse. Obviously I paired it with knee high boots and if they ask why I was so dressed up, I'll say I came back from outside. I did soft glam makeup and put my accessories and perfume on getting ready to leave. I grab a purse from my closet and order an Uber.

Moments later I knock on the door. It was a nice house i must admit. "Finalmente" said the voice opening the door wide open. He stopped speaking when he saw it was me. "Oh, perdon" gavi said a bit embarrassed. I lowly smile showing him it was okay. He lets me inside. I put my shoes on the rack and ask where Aurora was. Instead of telling me, he showed me. He led me into this widely open spaced room that had music playing out of it. Before he opened the door for me he said "here, Auroras inside". "We're you expecting someone?" I asked before fully stepping inside the room. "Si, mi amigo". I nod and head inside.

Aurora quickly jogs up to me and hugs me, "finalmenteeee, estas aquiii", i laugh slightly and hug her back. The other girls quickly say hi.
I sat next to one of her friends, Laura. We started talking and laughing. It was fun. This whole thing. It felt comfortable.

I was feeling a bit parched and asked if I could go get some water. Aurora told me the way and I went. I did get lost once but found my way immediately. Finally, I reach the kitchen but don't realize another presence was available. It was pedri. I did get a bit scared which led me to gasping for a second.

"Perdon" he said laughing confused. "esta bien" I say relieved smiling, putting a hand over my chest. I quickly go back to doing what I came here for. I shouldve asked where she kept the glasses. "sorry, do you know where the glasses are kept?" I say turning around to him finally giving up on guessing. "Yeah it's that one on the left" he said pointing. I chose a glass and filled it up. As I was filling it, he came over. "Elena right?".

"Yeah" i reply slightly nodding back. "How old are you?" He asked while waiting to fill up the glass he picked up. "17" I said looking down at the glass he was filling. "Oh, you're young" he says stepping away from the cooler. I nod with my lips shut together. "I have to go, she probably thinks I'm lost. I'll see you around" I say after we just stood in silence. "And you're sure about that?" He says laughing slightly. "Maybe not then" I say walking away smiling.

I knew he was older than me and my age would've scared him, but he seemed alright. So that could mean 2 things. Either he doesn't see me that way or he thinks our age gap isn't that big of a deal.

It was 9 pm now, we were all watching a movie when the doorbell rang. We paused the movie and looked at each other. "Who could that be" asked Laura. "I don't know probably mi hermano" answered Aurora getting up. "I'll come with you in case" I say also standing up. She nods and waits for me. "Check the peephole" I say to her. "Yeah it's Pablo" she says unlocking the door. "La próxima vez coge tus llaves (Next time take your keys)" she says to him. He enters, and pedri follows behind. "Lo siento" he says putting his arms up in defeat.

As we all walk to the room, gavi breaks the silence by asking what we're doing. "Watching a movie" aurora replied. "Ooh which one?" Pedri asked. "Annabelle" I reply. "Can we join?" Gavi asks. "No" Aurora says immediately. "Por favor, estaremos bien (please, we'll be good)" he pleads. "Pedri, do you even want to watch it?" She asks. "Yeah I like horror movies" he replies. "Okay fine, but I didn't say yes because of you" she says pointing her finger in Gavis face. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. He turns to me immediately, "not funny" he said seriously but broke out of character and started laughing too.

We entered the room and went back to our original places. I was sat with Laura. Pedri sat in the empty space next to me on my right and gavi went to sit on an empty seat with another girl. I won't lie I was a bit nervous. I was sitting next to Pedri after all. This man was even more beautiful up close. At least he was sitting on my good side.
