perfect moment 

we have decided that me and Con are gonna stay in a hotel and J is driving Belly to volleyball camp and would pick us up after tomorrow.

Okay, con said clapping his hands together as we watch his brother drive away

"It's just you and me" I raise my eyebrows. we both turned to look at Ella who was in her pram. I didn't feel like driving around with Ella, we needed some rest. the second we got there we both collapsed on the bed, laying ella between us

She was playing with my fingers as i wiggled them in the air as she giggled
Conrad smiling well watching us.

"do you remember when we were 13 and you convinced me to go swimming in ocean at like midnight" I laughed at the memory "and you pretended that was a fucking shark freaked me the fuck out" I told him in a whispe and Mouthing the swear words. He laughed at the memory

"That was so funny, you should've seen your face" he couldn't stop laughing. i hit him on the shoulder "It was not funny, i honestly thought there was a shark"

"Life was so simple back then" I sigh

"Yeah it was" he answered as a laughing slowed down. his face looked like he went deep into thought.

"It's not true" I told him looking at expression on his face

"What are you talking about Lottie"

"your not going to break her" i said honestly

"How do you do That, you always know what I'm thinking the second I think it"

"it's a Talent"

"you know when we where young and we don't have our life planned out, but this little girl she's gonna be president and marry a prince"

"She's not marry anybody" he said, getting angry at the thought . but still keeping a harsh tone.

"You're gonna be terrible when she gets a boyfriend" i laughed at how protective he is

"It doesn't matter, she's not gonna have one" he said in denial

"Conrad she's going to have to date to find the love her life"

"No she doesn't. I never needed to look for anyone else. I always had you" putting a big smile on my face

"you Always know how to make me smile, don't you"

"You have your gift I have mine" i kissed him

"I'm gonna take a shower Romeo your shift to change Ella" I told him patting him on the shoulder as I got up

"Oh yay, my favourite part" he said sarcastically

"Hey, who who had to give birth to your beautiful daughter" I told him turning around to look at him with raised eyebrows

"do you know how much i love you. I would be happy to change her"

"That's what I like to hear" I said, smiling as I close the bathroom door.

when I got back, Ella was fast asleep on the bed, and con was just watching her "do you want to go look at the rain" he asked me when he realised I had walked back into the room

"What about Ella"

"Don't worry, I mean we just go outside the door, she's fast asleep anyways"
I looked at her and she was passed out. Probably dreaming about rainbows and puppy dogs

We walked outside the room, putting my arms against the cold metal railing. as Conrad stood next to me.

"Hey, I have something for you" he said, reaching into a sprocket

"If it's weed, I swear to God I will murder you. Ella is right there" i whisper yelled.

"No babe it's not, calm down" He opened a small box and pass it to me. i opened the small box, my stomach dropped and my mouth fell open, staring at him in shock.

"Chill it's not that kind of ring I know that you're not ready for that yet, and neither am I." in my hand was a beautiful ring with a small diamond in the middle and Ella's birthstone next to it. I smiled up at him.

"It's a promise ring, a promise that we will be together forever and one-day in the future we will get married"

"you put her birthstone on it?"

"Yeah I thought I'd give you a little piece of Ella to carry with you all the time" Tears started to fall down my cheeks.

"Don't cry I'm sorry forget I said anything" he said panicky

"No no it's not that, I love it. I love it so much. I love you so much" I smiled up at him, touching his cheek

He took the box out of my hand. putting the the ring onto my ring finger.
I looked at it with a smile. He looked so happy, then we kissed as the rain fell. We kissed, like we were still teenagers who knew nothing about life. It had like been awhile since we've been alone like this, ella was always in the room

We rested our foreheads together and laughed and we turned to look at night sky, the rains falling from the dark clouds, it was a perfect moment.

The second I open my eyes I feel the sun on my face. I turn over to see Conrad, holding Ella "morning beautiful " he says, smiling down at me.

"Why didn't you wake me up?"

"you Needed to sleep, I got her" he says, smiling down at his daughter putting a big smile on my face.

it was just like the dream I had a week ago, but this time it was real, and this time it was for the rest of my life. I smiled down at the ring on my finger

"I wish my mum was here to see us" he said with a sad smile, i know he missed her so much

"She is, she's always with us, in here" I pointed to his heart

"Do you know I see her in Ella it makes me feel close to her" he looked down at Ella in his arms

"She wouldn't want you to stop living She would want you to go to Stanford and get an apartment with me, going to the beach house as much as possible and have a beach wedding at sunset" he smiled at me, like he believed every word

when J picked us up, I was practically beaming with joy. He asked me if I was Hight, I just smacked him in return. I sat in the backseat with Conrad and Ella. as J, sing along to the music.

I rested my head on Conrad shoulder, and I had my arm next to Ella in her car seat. She grabbed it in her sleep and squeeze it tight. In this moment, I was the happiest I've ever been and I never wanted it to end
