Secrets and Lies : Conrad Fisher

everything will be okay 

I woke up to find myself alone in my room

i Couldn't hear anyone so I figured they would be in the living room or something. When I got there, I saw Conrad, making funny faces at ella who was in his arms as she giggled.

"What time is it" I asked, leaning on the door frame brushing my hair out of my face. He looked up at me, smile still planted on his face

"It's late, you slept for awhile" he laughed

"I don't think I've got that much sleep since well... since that one" I said nodding, my head towards Ella as i walking into the room to sit next to Conrad on the couch.

"where are belly and j" I asked looking around realising they weren't here.

"probably somewhere, sucking each other's faces"

"not surprising"

"how about I feed Ella and we go down to the beach"

"Sounds perfect"

I watched Conrad surf for awhile as I held Ella in my arms, rocking her back and forth, humming a random tune I had in my head

I didn't even notice Conrad have walked up to us until he was standing right in front of me

"I love it when you do that" he startled me a bit

"Do what" I laughed

"Sing"

"I wasn't singing" I denied

"Huming, same difference"

I passed Conrad his towel and stood up, using my freehand to wipe the sand off. when I looked back up, Conrad was smiling at me leaning in to kiss me when we broke apart, his smile was even brighter

"What" I said was a nervous laugh

"Nothing" he looked away

"What" I grabbed his arm to face me

"just i have got my two favourite people in my favourite place and i'm just happy"

"your cheesy sometimes"

"Oh, shut up, you love it"

then Ella giggled causing us both to start cracking up.

when the laughter dies down I could see he was overthinking "Don't you do that" he looked at me confused "What am I doing" he looked like he was trying to figure out if he had done anything wrong today.

"You're thinking too much" he relaxed, realising I was just reading his mind like always

I put my hand on his cheek "We're gonna figure this out, ok?"

"ok"

When we got back up to the house, J and Belly got out of the jeep

"You guys went to the store" con asked

"uh we actually thought about leaving but then we decided not to listen to you" belly said directly to Conrad

raising my eyebrows at Conrad "One second" passing Ella off to J, who had a very confused look on his face.

I slowly lean down and picked up one of my thongs (flip flops) from my foot and started hitting Conrad on the arm with it

"Stupid, stupid idiot" i yelled at him.
After about four, I thought he maybe had enough.

"ummm OW that hurt" he said looking down at me

"Did you seriously tell them to leave"

"i.." but before he could even answer, i hit him another two times "seriously"
