I push the door open to the Aaliyah seated on the bed with her phone in her hands.

"Morning , I came up here at the right time"

"Good morning"

I walk over to her and lean in for a kiss.

"Zaidan..." she mumbles as she moves her head.

I pull back and look at her with knitted brows.

"I just woke up and I haven't brushed my teeth.."

I hate when she does this.

"Aaliyah gi me a kiss , mi nuh care if yuh jus wake" I say as I palm her neck and kiss her on her lips.

"Where is Ivy ?" she asks.

"She woke and I gave her a bottle then she went back to sleep"

"Do you even know how to make it prorperly ?"

"Aaliyah nuh ramp wid mi"

"I'm just joking" she says chuckling.

I watch whenever she does it so I know how to do it now.

The first time I had to ask her.

"Yuh probably feel mi cya do it fi real"

"No I seen you make it the other day and it was okay. For a first time father your doing a very great Job"

"Your dressed...are you going somewhere?" she asks.

"I have to travel to Bali for two days for an important meeting"

I should've told her yesterday but it slipped my mind.

"All the way in bali....?"

"Remember I told you I wanted to expand the restaurant"

"Oh yeah...but...you don't want me to make you something to eat before you leave ?" she asks pouting.

"Actually , do you want to come with me ?" I ask looking at my wrist at the time on my watch.

"Did you get me a ticket as well...?"

"We're flying on a jet"

"A jet !? " she exclaims.

"Yes" I say smiling at her.

"Whose going to watch Ivy ?" she asks.

"Don't worry about that. You have an hour to get ready"

"Okay I'm going to go get ready now"

She gets up from the bed and runs into the closet.

I chuckle.

I dial my aunt and she picks up on the first ring.

"You can come now" I say.

"Okay coming"

I hang up.

She's always ready to keep Ivy.

She works at home, which is good because we haven't found the right baby sitter for Ivy.

I've been telling Aaliyah it doesn't really make sense she gets one here because we're always in the house.

When we're in Jamaica that's when we're gonna have to definitely get one.

Aaliyah walks out of the closet with a bag in her hand.

"A weh yah guh wid dat ?" I ask looking at the travel bag in her hand.
