Operation Love Boat- Luffy x Hancock Fan Fiction (Sequel to Island For Two)

The Reveal

After their battle, Luffy and Luka were heading back to the orphanage.

"Ugh..."

Luka was dragging his feet and groaning following behind Luffy.

"I know some bones are broken."

He straightened his back and multiple cracks could be heard.

"Yeah, I'm gonna feel this tomorrow."

"Once again, my bad."

Luka looked at Luffy from head to toe.

"How are you fine? I gave everything I had."

"I'm used to getting hit."

He spoke with a proud smile.

"Is that something someone should be proud of?"

The two returned to the orphanage in the afternoon.

"Oh, you two are back."

When they returned, they saw Hancock with the children playing around her.

"Oh, Luka's back!"

"He looks pretty beat up too!"

"Maybe we can use this chance to beat him!"

"Get the swords and bows!"

The children scattered to get their weapons.

"Quit wasting your time, brats. I may have broken..."

Luka started patting various parts of his body.

"I may have broken 14 bones but you still can't lay a finger on me."

"We'll see about that!"

The kids charged at Luka who evaded them with a smile. Hancock walked up to Luffy who was watching them.

"Looks like you succeeded."

"Did I? Only thing I did was kick him around and help him let off some steam."

"No, you were successful."

"?!"

Hancock and Luffy spun around when a voice came from behind them. They were greeted by Felix looking at them.

"Luka knows he's around pirates and yet he's not flipping out. He was calm when he saw you around the kids too..."

A smile crawled on Felix's face.

"I think it's fair to say you've eased the pain in his heart, even a little bit."

"Like I said, I only-"

"Yes, I know."

Felix patted Luffy's shoulder after cutting him off.

"Just take my appreciation."

"...Alright."

Felix nodded and then walked away after giving Luffy one last glance. While walking away his smile faded.

"He's a lot like his father, in a way, when he was younger...I don't know if that's a bad thing or a good thing."

Luffy and Hancock glanced at him leaving for a bit before returning to watch Luka and the kids.

"Looks like you were playing with them, Hancock. That's surprising."

He looked at her.

"Do you like kids?"

This question caused Hancock's body to tense up.

(Is he asking me to have his children?!)

She screamed in her head while nervously looking away.

(Calm down, Hancock! Play it cool!)

She took a deep breath.

"I don't hate them. It's just when I imagine them with strawhats I feel like bonding with them."

(I said it! Luffy must know what I'm implying!)

"Why would they have strawhats?"

(He didn't get the hint!)

What Boa Hancock failed to realize is people aren't born with strawhats. So, a child with a strawhat doesn't equal it being Luffy's. Common sense? This is Boa Hancock, that doesn't apply to her.

"L-Luffy, what do you think about children?"

"Nothing much. I treat them the same as everybody else."

"No, I mean do you want children in the future?"

Luffy looked at her.

"Why are you asking that?"

"N-No reason! You don't have to answer if you don't want to!"

"Hmm...Nah, it's no big deal."

Luffy looked away.

"To be honest, I've never thought about stuff like that. All I think about is having fun with my crew and adventuring....So, I don't know."

(He didn't say no!)

She fist-pumped with one hand behind her back.

"There's still a chance for you, Lulu, Luna, and Junior."

"Who are they?"

"N-Nobody! Oh, look the children almost got a hit on Luka!"

"Really?"

Luffy started watching Luka and the kids. He started grinning as Luka sent the kids flying with simple movements.

"This reminds me of my childhood with Ace and Sabo. We used to fight like this all the time. Although, I would also lose."

He laughed a bit. Luka looked back at him and frowned.

(I know he's a pirate, but I don't hate him...Who would've thought?)

Luffy and Hancock left the orphanage late in the afternoon. Luka who had sent the children to their classes was in the infirmary. He was shirtless and was dressing his wounds and wrapping himself in bondages.

"A Logia with the healing capabilities of a Zoan."

Felix was leaning at the door.

"You're the definition of talent. If you were in the Marines, you might become a Navy Admiral candidate in 5 years."

"Spoken like a man who can rival an admiral."

Luka put his shirt back on.

"You knew they were pirates."

"That's right."

"And you hid that from me."

"I did."

"Why?"

"Mayor's orders."

Felix shrugged.

"You should've told me."

"Why? So that you could go on a rampage and attack them without care of your surroundings?"

Felix pointed at his head.

"You don't know how messed up in the head you are, do you?"

"I know I get a bit crazy when it comes to pirates--"

"Not a bit. You get batshit crazy. It's this reason why I told Strawhat to fight you elsewhere because you would hurt the children."

"I would never!"

"You would. History shows that."

"History? What are you talking about?"

Felix looked at him for a while and smiled.

"Like I said, you don't know how much of a psycho your past made you."

"I don't understand..."

"Don't worry about it. I'm a bigger psycho than you are."

He got off the door and locked eyes with Luka. His smile sent chills down Luka's spine. Luka found himself stepping back.

"Luka, do you hate Strawhat Luffy?"

"...No, I don't."

"Good."

The aura around Felix's smile became a warm one.

"Then you've taken the right steps. I'm proud of you."

"T-Thanks, Sir."

"Hm? Why are you being so formal all of a sudden?"

"I don't know. It just felt right."

"Is that so? Oh, Tate wants you and the rest of the Supreme Five to meet at his mansion in the next hour."

"Reason?"

"He didn't say but I believe it has to do with what you learn earlier."

"...I see."

The next hour Luka patched himself up and went to Tate's mansion. When he arrived he could sense familiar presences.

"Come in, Luka."

He was welcomed at the door by Tate. When he entered, he saw the rest of the Supreme Five sitting in the living room.

"What, I'm the last one to arrive?"

He said as he took a seat.

"What the hell happened to you? Why are you so beaten up?"

Astrid asked while holding his head.

(Is he hungover?)

"You can ask Caria about that."

"What? Caria beat you up?"

Jessie turned to Caria.

"Why are you bullying the youngest?"

"I didn't bully anyone. It was probably Lucia who did it. Although, I didn't expect it would be this bad."

"Wait, now I'm getting more confused."

"I'll explain everything, Jessie."

Tate sat on a chair while looking at everybody else.

"Luka got beaten up most likely because he tried to kill Luica."

"Why would he do that?"

"Because Lucia is a pirate."

"What?!"

Jessie stood up with eyes peeled open.

"I never knew......Wait, why am I the only one who looked surprised."

"Because you're the only one who didn't know."

"Huh? Seriously?"

Jessie looked around for confirmation. Everyone started nodding.

"The hell? That's messed up."

Jessie frowned.

"I only know he's a pirate, I don't know his identity."

Astrid said while rubbing his temples.

"It's Strawhat Luffy."

Caria answered.

"What? Seriously?"

"Yeah, we talked about it last night but you were too drunk to remember."

"Strawhat Luffy?! Sick!"

Jessie's eyes sparkled as he clenched his fists.

"I always wanted to meet him! Just remembering the things he's done gets my blood pumping!"

"By the way, Hanson is Boa Hancock."

Caria added.

"What?!"

Jessie got so excited it looked like he was about to be surrounded by a golden aura.

"The Pirate Empress and Strawhat Luffy are here?! Ohhhhh!"

Conqueror's haki started flowing out of his body nonstop.

"Control your haki, man!"

Frantz shouted.

"My bad, it's just two great pirates are here...I want to fight them so badly!"

"Go ahead. Get revenge for me while you're at it."

Luka was grinning from ear to ear. Caria looked at him.

"How are you feeling about all of this?"

"If you're wondering if your plan worked. Rest easy. Strawhat Luffy beat me so badly, I don't have the gall to hate him."

Caria smiled.

(If he's joking about the situation then the plan was really a success.)

She leaned back in her seat.

"I didn't call you all here just to tell you this. There's another thing you all need to know."

Tate gestured to Frantz who stood up.

"What? He's a pirate too?"

Astrid said.

"......."

Everyone looked at Frantz in confusion when he didn't say anything.

"Wait, I was just joking. You can't be serious."

Frantz shook his head.

"I'm not a pirate, but I'm also an enemy of the Marines."

He smiled.

"I am Frantz Zapata, a Revolutionary agent sent here to persuade Bounty Island away from the World Government."

Sup, my fellow One Piece fans. I'm here to give you an update and ask a question. First, I'm currently writing the final stretch of this story and I want to finish it as soon as possible, so I'm in overdrive and am currently 12 chaps ahead of you. Once I finish the story I will post chapters more often, like 5 or 6 times a week so look forward to that. 

Now my question. I'm currently in a fanfic writing mood, but I also have multiple ideas for Original stories. I'm stuck in the middle but I think I will continue posting fanfics for now. The question is, would you like to read a Koala X Sabo fanfic? A reader once suggested this to me last year and I've been recently considering it. It's just I don't know how popular of a ship this is or if people want it. The story would be centered around Sabo and Koala growing up together and developing a relationship. Are you guys interested in that?
