"𝗢𝗵. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿'𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲" An annoyed voice is heard as I slowly open my eyes. "Can someone get me a new doctor?"
I ask as I stare at the doctor from earlier. "I'm afraid not" She scoffs as she walks out.
"What are you still doing here?" I roll my eyes at him. He scoffs before walking away.
"Hey, are you okay?" Khanya asks while stepping closer. "I'm fine Nokukhanya, I just want to get out of this room" I sigh as I get up.
"Well the doctor said you have to be on bed rest for two days" She continues. "Well that makes me want to leave even more".
I walk out of the room with her trailing behind me. "Nkosinathi won't be happy about this" She grins.
"I don't care" I slam the door to my room. Memories from yesterday suddenly start resurfacing.
My breathing quickens as my hands begin to shake. Muffled voices shout from a distance away.
"Zanothando"
"Zanothando."
"Zanothando!"
My breathing slows down as I look up at him. "I-I-What's going on Nkosinathi?" I stutter as tears weld up in my eyes.
"What are you talking about? I've been calling you for the past five minutes" he sighs.
"No, The flashbacks I've been getting" I look away from him. His face drops before he composes himself.
"What flashbacks?". "I was in a hospital giving birth and-" he cuts me off. "Stop, it's probably nothing" he interrupts.
"It is something if I keep on remembering it Nkosinathi. Why do you want me to block it away, are you hiding something from me?" I question him.
"Drop it. Now get into bed, doctors orders" he tries changing the topic. "Stop it Nkosinathi! Just stop it okay! You trying to stop me from thinking about it won't work! There's something going on and I have to know, please just tell me". I whisper the last part.
