"YOU DID A GREAT JOB, lil mama. Suge said to the teen once the recording of the song wrapped up finally. The group was mingling in the hallway and Aaliyah was surprised by all of the Deathrow artists who came up to her and praised her singing on the single in the booth.

She was still baffled by everyone's acceptance, people such as Daz and Kurupt, and Dr. Dre saluted her performance. It was as if she were dreaming but it was reality. They liked her style and voice and didn't hesitate to let her know.

"Thank you. Aaliyah said shyly as she clung close to DeVante wrapping an arm around his torso. She refused to be away from him not even for a minute. No doubt he made her feel safe like no other. He put his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close comfortably.

"I told you she got mad talent. DeVante chuckled looking down at her. Aaliyah couldn't help but turn red.

"I believe it. You definitely owned up to the amount of hype my boy Swing was giving you. Suge elucidated. Aaliyah beamed and bucked up to DeVante after hearing what Suge said. It's true, you have genuine talent, so genuine I wouldn't mind finding a spot here for you at Deathrow Records.

Aaliyah's eyes broadened at his words. She looked back up at DeVante and he only shrugged. He wasn't expecting Suge to offer the teen a spot here at Deathrow Records and if he did he assumed Suge was joking.

"We don't have a lot of singers, mostly rappers. I believe you and Danny Boy could take the world by storm, possibly even do a duet with the likes of Tupac Shakur feature on it. He explained. Maybe even Snoop. Who knows what the future holds?

Aaliyah couldn't help but gasped. Not because Suge offered her a place, but because the thought of assembling a record with Tupac Shakur would be a dream come true to her. He was such a talented, deep-conscious lyrical rapper who attended to the world around him and didn't hold back on topics of struggles and the tough life of African Americans.

"Really? I love Tupac Shakur. She fangirled. Suge chuckled adoring the sight. It seems as if every teenager in the nineties did. DeVante however thought differently. De, did you hear him? Can you believe this?" Me and Tupac Shakur on the same record. Oh my god! She squealed. Yes!, yes! The answer is yes!

"Whoa, whoa, baby girl. Calm down. Let's not rush the process. DeVante eyebrows raised a little bit. The man said possibly. Not tonight. He chuckled. I get you feel like a superstar right now, but we still have a long way to go.

Aaliyah sighed."Can't a girl dream? She said sarcastically resulting in both of the males laughing.

"Honestly, I like the enthusiasm. Keep manifesting that shit and it will come true.
