Becky was determined to move on from her broken relationship with nop. She threw herself into her studies, using them as a distraction and a way to rebuild herself. She was determined to become an independent and strong woman, ready to face whatever challenges life threw at her.

One of the most visible changes she made was to her appearance. She decided to make a drastic change by cutting her hair short and dyeing it blonde. It was a symbol of her shedding the old version of herself and embracing a new beginning. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, a mix of excitement and nerves coursing through her. It was a bold move, and she hoped it would reflect the changes happening within her.

Becky POV

As I immersed myself in my studies and tried to move on from the heartbreak with Nop, I decided to make some drastic changes in my life. I needed to focus on myself and become the strong and independent woman I wanted to be. One of the first things I did was cut my hair short . It felt liberating and empowering, like shedding my old self and embracing a new chapter in my life.

As for Freen, I felt conflicted about our relationship. On one hand, I couldn't deny the feelings I had for her, especially after our passionate kiss. But on the other hand, I was still trying to heal from my broken relationship with Nop, and I wasn't sure if I was ready for anything serious.

So, I decided to take a break from our relationship. I needed time to figure out my feelings and priorities without the pressure of a romantic relationship. Freen was understanding, though I could sense she was worried. I reassured her that it was not her fault and that I just needed some space to focus on myself.

As I threw myself into my studies and tried to stay busy, I didn't realize that I was pushing myself too hard. The stress of everything started to take a toll on my health. I became overworked and neglected to take care of myself properly. One day, I pushed myself too far, and I ended up blacking out and collapsing at the hospital.

I woke up to Irin's worried face beside me. She had rushed to the hospital when she heard what happened. "Becky, are you okay? What happened?" she asked with concern.

I weakly smiled at her, feeling guilty for worrying her. "I guess I pushed myself too hard. I've been neglecting my health and well-being."

Irin gently held my hand and said, "You need to take care of yourself, Becky. I know you're trying to be strong, but you can't neglect your own well-being in the process."

Tears welled up in my eyes as I felt overwhelmed by everything. "I just don't know what to do, Irin. I feel so lost and confused about everything."

Becky, you really need to take better care of yourself," Irin scolded gently, her worry evident in her eyes.

I managed a weak smile. "I know, I know. I've just been so focused on my studies."

Irin handed me a container of my favorite milk tea. "Well, here's a start. Drink up. And promise me you'll eat properly from now on."

I couldn't help but chuckle. Leave it to Irin to worry about my nutrition. I took the container and started sipping the milk tea, the familiar taste bringing a sense of comfort.

"Thanks, Irin. You're always looking out for me."

She smiled warmly. "Of course, that's what friends are for. But seriously, Becky, you can't neglect your health like this. And don't forget to take breaks and relax once in a while."

As I continued sipping the milk tea, a memory flashed in my mind - Freen, always thoughtful and caring, bringing me my favorite milk tea whenever I needed a pick-me-up. I shook my head, trying to push the thought away. I needed to focus on the present, on taking care of myself and moving forward.

But as I sat there, sipping my milk tea and talking with Irin, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - confusion, longing, and a hint of warmth that came with the memory of Freen's kind gestures. It was clear that my heart was still in turmoil, and I knew I had a lot to figure out before I could truly move on from the past and embrace whatever the future held for me.

Irin POV

I couldn't help but worry about Becky's well-being. It was clear that she was struggling to cope with the aftermath of her breakup with Nop, and I knew that burying herself in her studies was her way of trying to move on and distract herself from the pain. As her best friend, I wanted nothing more than to see her happy and at peace.

I had a strong feeling that Becky's feelings for Freen ran deeper than she was letting on. I could see it in the way she talked about Freen and the way her eyes would light up whenever Freen's name was mentioned. But I also understood that Becky needed time to sort through her emotions and figure things out for herself.

The revelation about Nop's cheating had hit Becky hard. It was heartbreaking to see her go through such a betrayal after being together for so long, since high school no less. I couldn't fathom how someone could hurt Becky like that.

On the other hand, I couldn't deny that there was something different about Freen. Despite the complicated situation between her and Becky, I could sense that Freen genuinely cared about her. Her actions spoke louder than words. The way she respected Becky's decision to take a break from their relationship showed a level of maturity and understanding that was rare to find.

During one of my visits to the hospital to check on Becky, I noticed Freen's presence. She was there, quietly checking on Becky from a distance, making sure she was okay. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about Freen's concern for Becky's well-being.

To my surprise, Freen had secretly bought lunch , ensuring that Becky had something to eat while she was in the hospital. It was a thoughtful and caring gesture that didn't go unnoticed.

Freen POV

I rushed to the hospital as soon as I got the news from Nam that Becky had passed out and was resting there. My heart raced with worry as I navigated through the hospital corridors, my mind filled with concern for Becky's well-being. I finally arrived at the ward where she was resting, and as I entered the room, my heart sank at the sight of her pale and frail form.

Becky looked so different from the vibrant and energetic person I knew. Her face had lost its usual color, and her once lively eyes seemed tired. I couldn't help but notice the change in her appearance - her hair was cut short and dyed blonde. Despite her weakened state, I thought she looked cute, and my heart ached at the thought of her going through all of this alone.

My colleague had informed me that Becky was fine, just suffering from dehydration and neglecting her food. I felt a mix of relief and concern. How could she let herself get to this point? I wanted to be there for her, to take care of her and make sure she was okay, but I knew that she needed her space right now. She had been avoiding me, and I respected her wishes, even though it pained me.

I quietly approached her bedside, careful not to disturb her rest. I couldn't help but reach out, my fingers hovering over her hair before I stopped myself. I wanted to pat her head, to comfort her, but I didn't want to overstep any boundaries. Instead, I whispered softly, almost to myself, "Don't worry, Becky,"I'll be here for you, no matter what. Take all the time you need, and I'll wait for you."

I gazed at her sleeping form for a moment longer, my heart heavy with a mixture of emotions. I wished I could do more, be there for her in any way she needed. But for now, I had to respect her space and give her the time she needed to heal, both physically and emotionally. With a heavy sigh, I turned and quietly left the room, hoping and praying that she would recover soon and that I could be there for her when she was ready.
