Epilogue!

Back home everyone relaxed. Akhast dragged Ayaan to his room. He was relieved. He closed the door shut and hugged his twin.

"sare problem solve ho gaye Ayu. Tughe kuch batana he nehi pada" His voice was heavy with emotion.

Ayaan blinked off tears. He had been so scared that he could not protect his bhaiya from the truth but his bhabhi had shown him there would always be another way. He had been so upset with her, and yet she stood by him through thick and thin. 

"Bhabhi nehi hote to......" He could not even finish his sentence. Akshat sighed and sat next to his twin "Bhabhi! kitna strange sound kar raha hai na Ayu. She is our di yaar"

"Bhabhi hai woh humare" Ayaan corrected him gently "bhaiya bhi bol rahe hai unhe. We should be doing the same"

Akshat nodded his head, if his bhaiya was calling simran bhabhi, they had to follow him. He never did anything wrong. He was still reluctant to embrace their relationship, he still held them responsible for what happened, but he was really grateful to Simran for what she did.

"Chal tu aram kar aab. Do din se soya nehi tu theek se" Akashat made Ayaan lay down.

"Tu rest kar Aki, chot tugeh aye hai" Ayaan nudged him gently.

"Nehi tu rest kar....."

"nehi tu....."

"Are par tere tabeyat kharab hai Aki"

"You look dead on your feet Ayu"

"Shut up and rest you idiot" Ayu whacked him with a pillow.

"abey apne bade bhai ko martey hue tughe sharam nehi ate??" Aki grabbed the pillow and whacked him hard.

Ayu huffed "you were born only 15 minutes before me"

"That still makes you my younger brother duffer. So jaa chup chap"

Ayu sighed and hugged him tightly. His twin had stood by him though everything. even without knowing his truth he had stood by his side. He would have been lost without Akshat Goinka!

"Abey hug karke maar dalega kya???" Akshat pulled back "chal so jaa aram se. Even i feel like taking a nap"

Ayaan laid out. Akasht laid down beside him and held his hand "Agar tughe coat saza dete aur tu jail chala jata to main to pagal ho jata Ayu"

Ayaan looked at Akshat startled. Aki hosted himself on one hand and looked at his twin. He wanted him to understand something very clearly "mughe pata hai tu bhaiya ko protect kar raha tha Ayu, but kya tera rishta sirf Bhaiya ke saath hai???"

Ayaan gave him a guilty look.

"Bachpan se humne sabkuch share keya na Ayu??? You are my only best friend yaar! Tu mughse alag ho jayega to kaise rahunga main bata??"

"I am sorry Aki....."

Aki shook his head "main bhaiya ke tarah strong nehi hoon Ayu. Mughe apne feeling apne anadr dabake rakhna nehi ata. If you do that to me again, I swear I will not talk to you again"

"Aki I am sorry yaar...." Ayu tried to touch him but Aki pushed him away "You saw how broken bhaiya is without bhaiyu, phir bhi tune mere saath aisa keya....... next time I will return the favor Ayaan! Main bhi dekhta hoon kasie rahega tu, you....." He stopped when he saw the tears.

"Abey ro maat" He pulled him into a deep hug "dara deya tune mughe, ok??? I am just fine. Gussa nehi hoon main. Tu rona band kar please"

"I am sorry Aki, really sorry" Ayaan held him and cried. He had not given anything else a thought. He had just let the truth overwhelm him, Aki was right, he had been only thinking about his bhaiya and no one else. It had been so wrong.
