We land and we make our way into the facility. Inside, we hear the voice of a man
Radio transmission: "Thank god you came! My name is Dr. Gavin archer. The situation is urgent— we're facing a catastrophic VI breakout. I'll explain the details later, but you must retract that transmission dish! The controls aren't far from your position you have to hurry" he says panicking and out of breath
Inside the facility, we see some of the dead personnel laying around. Causes of death seems like a battle. Blast markings left on the wall, fires burning nearby. Yet, nothing to show WHO left that damage. We see a man's face on the monitor and he calls out to us and gains our attention
Archer: "Over here— on the monitor. Ah, there you are. I've locked myself in a computer room on the far side of the base. There are geth on the loose" he says and that answered what killed everyone. I hear a loud sigh and turn to tali who joined this time around. I swear if it's not collectors than it's geth. I had enough of them back on eden prime. Hell, I'd shoot myself if one would join us at this point.
Tali: "Geth. Why did it have to be Geth?" She mumbles
Y/n: "If it's not geth, it's collectors. I'd rather deal with scrap metal than deal with revamped zombies from former genocide" I say bluntly. My reply got a simple "Boshtet" from tali
Archer: "A rogue VI program has seized control and... I've lost a lot of friends today. I'd hate to see you join them" he says solemnly
Jane then activated the controls and retracts the dish. Once she does, we have an error message pop up and a green hologram of a face pop up which sounds like it's saying "Please, Make it stop". It sounded like it was in pain... The Hell kind of VI is this? We then see gavin on the monitor
Archer: "Damn it! The VI's overridden the controls. We have to stop him— he's trying to upload his program off planet. Destroy the antenna inside the dish. There's a tram on the lower levels. Get to it as fast as you can!" He tells us urgently
Now something doesn't add up. We have to stop "Him" and "Hes" uploading "His" data off planet? Something's fishy here. I feel in my gut
However we have no time to worry and we head towards the tram. But before we can we hear about geth forces being active. We soon see the geth squad and get behind cover. We pick and choose our target. We see my mortal enemy... next to elevators, I mean. The geth destroyer and you can bet your ass I spend all ammo I had on that bastard. After the room is clear, we move in a bit to only duck behind cover again as wave 2 moves in. Easily dealt with since Tali has her Drone which distracts them. We move near the door and see wave number 3. Keep throwing cannon fodder at us! They'll die all the same! We then get on the tram and head off to the satellite dish. What I noticed was the geth we're all glowing green. The VI was controlling them. This has to be a STRONG VI then. We then hear Gavin again
