Everybody hates Cam
For reasons they can't explain
It's like they can't stand him
Driven by some kind of insane
He speaks his mind with such grace
And never holds back a thought
But it's not enough to win him a place
In the hearts of those he sought
His actions may be noble
His words always kind
But they can't help him out of this hole
That he's stuck in, constantly blind
He's always trying to do the right thing
But never gets the credit he deserves
The people he cares for don't understand
That he's showing them how much he serves
His heart is good, his intentions pure
But he just can't seem to win the love
That he deserves from those around him
Though his heart remains strong above
So with a heavy heart and a broken soul
Cam looks around at his world
He'll never be able to make them see
That he's not as bad as they've heard
