They blame you for all the wrongs
For all the things you don't belong
For the choices you didn't make
For the plans that you did not take
They blame you for the sorrows that you can't erase
For the days that you don't have the strength to face
For the pain that you can't block out
For the dreams that you can't go without
They blame you for the failures that you couldn't avoid
For the questions you could never answer with joy
For the mistakes that have cost you dearly
For the moments when your heart could barely be seen
They blame you for the tears that you couldn't stop
For the moments when you just wanted to drop
For the struggles that you had to go through
For the problems that no one else knew
They blame you for all the pain and hurt
For the days that felt like dirt
For the sorrows that made you feel so low
For the times that felt like you had nowhere to go
But they don't know that you can't just blame someone for all the things that they can't control
For all the things that are out of their reach and out of their hold
They don't know that you are doing the best that you can
And that sometimes you just need a helping hand
So don't let them blame you for something you had no part in
Just keep pushing forward and never give in
