The point of life is often hard to know
A question that has no clear answer, so
We ponder and ponder and ask ourselves why
As we search for a purpose to our life
We may feel lost and confused and alone
As we search for a reason to call our own
We question our worth and our life’s worth
Hoping to find our true purpose on Earth
We may look for love or wealth or fame
In the hopes of finding our life’s aim
But though these things can bring joy and cheer
They will never truly answer our innermost fear
The only way to find true purpose and peace
Is to look within to find what we seek
For within us lies the answer to life
In the depths of our heart and soul and mind
When we accept that life is full of surprises
And that sometimes it’s full of joy and surprises
We can find our true purpose in lif
And be content with what we find
For life is an adventure, an ever-changing ride
That will take us through joy, pain and pride
But if we stay true to ourselves
We can find our purpose and the joy that it brings
