So tonight I was extra skidish as the car pulled up to the front.

"You're going to be a good girl tonight, right?" I nodded my head, keeping my mouth shut. He tapped my chin. "Good girl."

Deacon slid out of the vehicle, followed by one of his men. Before slipping out myself, I tried to swallow some of my anxiety.

"Get moving, girl," the other goon still in the car with me growled at me. I quickly hopped out of the car before I got in trouble.

I could already hear the music thumping, a headache already forming in the back of my skull.  I balled my hands into fists and winced. A few steps ahead I could see Deacon stopped and turned around waiting for me,  and I could see the little patience he had was running low.  I scurried up towards him as quickly as I could.  His arms snaked around my waist and dragged me along with inside.

Blinking rapidly, my eyes struggled go adjust to the darkness of the space. The place was packed wall to wall,  but as soon as people saw who had walked in, the crowd parted like the Red Sea.

Deacon nodded to several people as we passed, his grip holding me tightly to him. We headed straight for the bar. He ordered several drinks, pushing one towards me when they were poured. Considering that he owned the bar, no one was going to question him serving someone underage.

I downed the beverage, not knowing what it was but also not really caring, the liquid burning my throat as it slid down to warm my belly. A few more shots and my brain began to feel fuzzy. I knew Deacon was trying to get me drunk, but I didn't care. I would do anything to not feel.

So when I kept getting passed more alcohol, I kept drinking.

And drinking.

And drinking.

I had a hard time remembering what I was doing there. Pieces of the night slipped away from my memory as the alcohol stole them from me.

I felt hands roaming my body, but wasn't able to do anything about it, my body not listening to what my brain was trying to tell it.

Later in the night, Deacon led me to one of the back rooms that he made someone put a large bed in.

"Now, I want you to drink one more," he commanded, shoving a drink into my hands, and I barely managed to keep from dropping it. I kept trying to tell my hands to grip it tighter, but it wouldn't listen to me. It tasted funny, and I giggled. "And remember, be a good girl for me, hmm? You don't want to make me upset again like last time, do you?"

"Uh, nope." I popped the "p" and giggled again.

"So go lay down and don't say no."

******
Every part of my body ached.

My brain was foggy, and everthing was beginning to blur together. I was running on such little sleep from all Deacon, and his men, had put me through. Whatever Deacon had put in that drink made it even worse. I could barely even function, let alone put up a fight when any guy came in.

So I didn't. I laid there and let them do what they wanted. One after another, after another, after another. I almost stopped feeling it. But even through all of it, I could feel the soreness between my legs growing from the constant and careless torture it had been enduring the past days. Or was it weeks? I wasn't sure. All concepts of time had flew out the window.

I dipped in and out of dozing, always opening my eyes to find a new man on top of me, moaning and touching me any place he could reach.

Eventually, they stopped coming, and I laid there, trying, and failing, to keep a grip on the current reality. All I could do it state at the ceiling and notice the specks on the tiles.

I hadn't heard the door open again, but it apparently did, since one minute there was no one and the next there was a man standing above me. I didn't make a sound, just continued to stare at nothing.

"You're going to be ok," he said. He covered me with a blanket, as I studied him. I didn't recognize him, but then again I wasn't firing on all cylinders. I was thankful it wasn't Deacon, but I was sad it wasn't Silas.

"Who... you..." I managed to breath out, but it was so exhausting just thinking, that even those two words drained me. I curled into a ball

Right as I drifted off to sleep, I heard him repeat, "You're going to be ok."
