"YEAH!" Hermann exclaimed excitedly. "I called it! I called it! Did I not call it?"

"No," Melisa responded, amused by him.

"Oh, yeah, I told Cindy. But, hey, I called it." Casey and Gabby told them that they were dating, and Hermann got a tiny bit excited— to say the least. "I knew you two were meant for each other."

"Me too," Mouch added. He patted Casey on the shoulder. "Randy McHolland! I knew you guys were going to be turtledoves one day."

Casey smiled. "It all worked out. Thanks, guys."

"Okay!" Boden walked into the conference room, where everyone had gathered. "I just heard from CPD. Clarke is out on bond." He stood in front of them. "He'll remain on suspension until further notice."

"That's crazy if he did it," Hermann spoke.

"If?" Otis asked as he took a seat. "The round came from his gun."

Kelly was quick to scold Otis. "The bullets came from a type of gun that Clarke owns. Get your facts straight."

"I stand corrected," Otis responded sarcastically.

Boden cut in before they could continue. "Enough. Clarke comes to this house for any reason; he is innocent until proven guilty. We treat him like a brother."

"He's not gonna come back," Peter spoke. "I already talked to him. He doesn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable."

"Then moving on, I'd like you all to give a nice, warm welcome to our new paramedic in charge, Miss Allison Rafferty."

They clapped as Allison greeted them. "I look forward to working with you all."

"Welcome aboard, kid," Hermann responded. "Where are you from? Tell us about yourself."
