TAMING A CLASS

CHAPTER TEN

DERRICK'S POV

It was already 10:45, when the students pulled up.

The students weren't on site, I knew this had to do with Bliss.

I had refused to be thrown by his silly antics.

I had a gut feeling that he was going to come,

It was the better late than never, he was coming at me with.

And i was prepared.

I was calming the other chaperone who had already given up and wasn't sure they were coming.

There were side talks obviously about how all this wasn't going to work.

But i don't see any harm in trying, just like the sayings 'It doesn't hurt to try'.

I was talking with the driver, who was complaining about not being able to do his work.

I was comforting, telling him i was going to pay whether we went on the trip or not,

When I heard...

no saw them in a fleets arriving at the school's park.

I got down from the bus, standing in front while 6 cars pulled up in front of me.

Bliss was more than daring, driving it an inch away from me with a smirk plastered in his face.

I didn't want to appear fazed by him, instead i smirked with an eyebrow raised looking up at him as  got out.

"Didn't see you there, Mr. Derrick" he snickered.

So that's how you want to play, uh Mr. Dan

I'll give it to you back.

"Yea, didn't expect you to come early seeing that you crashed at my place last night." With my hands folded in front of me, i countered back.

The smirk on his face leaving to be replaced by a scowl.

Like the sayings 'second time hurts like a bitch'.

His fists at his side clenched tightly, while his jaw ticks revealing his anger.

Turning away from the scene with whispers of confusion on what just happened.

I moved towards the crowd taking note that they were all clothed in casual wears with a loud boom I yelled "The class 12 trip is going to commence now."

At this point, there was silence seeming as they don't know what to do than follow their leader.

I continued "Head towards the security post, and 'cooperate' with the workers for a search to scrutinized your luggages for any contraband, if found should be seized"

They all groaned not liking the idea, i added for clarity sake "I am aware i informed you all yesterday, now be fast, we still have a long way to go" clapping my hands to hurry them up.

They formed a line heading towards the security post just opposite the bus they were to enter.

I watch the first girl got cleared, another leading her towards the bus with her luggage.

Some weren't as easy as the first, there was a bit of struggle but they were all put in place.

In an hour time, everyone was seated in the bus except from Bliss and Lorientta who hadn't moved a spot from their last position.

The other student were watching from the window, excited already about the drama that was going to unfold.
