She raced out of the office, smiling when a familiar red car came into sight.

"Hi," Chaeryeong uttered, staring up at Yuna who had a small and soft smile, opening the passenger door for her.

"You seem to be in a hurry," the model said, then smirked. "Eager to see me?"

Chaeryeong's heart skipped a beat at her voice, per usual, but she didn't show it.

"You wish," she rolled her eyes, getting into the Corvette.

After Yuna slid into the driver's seat, she buckled her seatbelt, turning on the engine.

"How was your day?" The actor asked, genuine interest in her gaze, something that Chaeryeong had never seen before.

Chaeryeong leaned back in her seat, feeling a sense of comfort in Yuna's presence. "It was alright, just a typical day at work. Nothing out of the ordinary."

Yuna nodded, her eyes focused on the road as they drove towards their house first. "Well, I hope it wasn't too stressful. We have a big night ahead of us."

Chaeryeong couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The event they were attending was a high-profile gathering, where their fake engagement would be on full display. It was not only meant to boost their own images but also to please their parents who had arranged the whole charade.

"Yeah, it's going to be interesting," Chaeryeong replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Yuna glanced at her briefly, sensing her unease. "Don't worry, I'll be right there by your side."

The sincerity in Yuna's voice warmed Chaeryeong's heart, easing her worries. Chaeryeong nodded, her gaze lingering on Yuna's face. There was a newfound closeness between them, an unspoken understanding that went beyond what she knew of her. She could sense that Yuna genuinely cared for her, and the realization filled her with a mixture of joy and trepidation.

As they arrived at the event venue, the flashing cameras and the buzz of the crowd welcomed them. Yuna gracefully stepped out of the car, offering her hand to Chaeryeong. Chaeryeong took it, feeling a surge of confidence as they walked together towards the entrance.

Things felt much different now that she was holding the actor's hand. She now knew that they were no longer acting, and that Yuna genuinely had feelings for her, something that enlightened her spirits for the night.

Inside the venue, they were greeted with the luxurious decorations, the air filled with laughter, chatter, and music that added a touch of elegance. Chaeryeong smiled unconsciously.

Before, when they were still acting, she had never felt stress-free in these environments, only because she knew that her acting had to be top-notch, or else their engagement and images would crumble.

However, now that Yuna was holding onto her hand out of her free will, Chaeryeong found herself admiring the surroundings as if it was her first time in this situation.

Yuna guided her through the crowd, introducing her to various people with confidence and charm. Chaeryeong followed along, playing her part as the dutiful fiancée, but her mind kept drifting back to Yuna. The way she held herself, the way she interacted with others—it was captivating.

As the evening progressed, they found themselves in the center of attention, the cameras capturing their every move. Chaeryeong couldn't help but feel the weight of expectations on her shoulders, the pressure to not mess anything up for the famous figure beside her.
