"So this is the house..."

Yeji's eyes widened as she took in the grandeur of the living room, the high ceilings stretching out before her. She couldn't help but be captivated by the elegant spiral staircase nestled in the corner, its steps ascending gracefully to the second floor. Her curiosity piqued as she gazed at the glass railings, trying to catch a glimpse of what lay beyond.

"Is that Yuna's room?" Yeji inquired, her gaze fixed on the double doors that stood prominently, beckoning towards a private sanctuary.

Chaeryeong, already settled on the couch, chuckled and reached for a nearby pillow, playfully tossing it into the air before snuggling against it. "How did you guess?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.

Yeji shrugged, a wistful smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I just had a feeling. Yuna strikes me as someone who appreciates a touch of luxury in her personal space."

"You're not wrong," Chaeryeong replied, settling back into the plush cushions. "Yuna has a flair for elegance and sophistication."

Yeji walked around the living room, taking in the luxurious decor and high-end furniture. "Well, if I were in your shoes, I'd make sure to leave a lasting impression in that fancy bedroom of hers. Show her what she's been missing."

Chaeryeong instinctively threw the pillow in her arms at her best friend, her cheeks flushing at the inappropriate idea. "Yeji!"

"I'm just saying~" The brunette sung with a playful grin, stopping in front of the TV. "By the way... Why is everything so clean?"

"Ah. Yuna hates a dirty and messy home, she cleans every two days."

"By herself?"

"Sometimes she calls the maid over," the writer shrugged, standing up, eyes darting to the frameless clock by the wall separating the kitchen and the living room. "Though I wonder when she'd get home... It's getting late."

Yeji whipped around, eyes narrowed. "Don't think about her. I'm here to make you forget about your troubles!" She beamed, her gaze wandering before it stopped. She pointed at the pool. "Let's take a night swim!"

Chaeryeong's eyebrows shot up in surprise at Yeji's suggestion. "A night swim? Are you serious?"

Yeji's grin widened mischievously. "Why not? It's a beautiful pool, and we have the entire place to ourselves. It could be fun and refreshing."

Chaeryeong hesitated for a moment, contemplating the idea. The thought of taking a spontaneous dip in the pool under the moonlight did sound enticing, a temporary escape from the complexities of her feelings for Yuna.

"Well, I guess it could be a good distraction," Chaeryeong finally relented, a spark of excitement flickering in her eyes. "But we need to be careful not to make a mess."

Yeji punched a fist in the air enthusiastically. "Let's geddit!"

With their decision made, the two friends rushed to Chaeryeong's room to change into their swimsuits. Chaeryeong grabbed towels from the linen closet while Yeji located some pool floats in the storage room. In no time, they were ready to plunge into the pool and let the cool water wash away their worries.

They stepped out onto the pool deck, the moon casting a soft glow over the sparkling water. The night air was pleasantly warm, carrying the subtle scent of flowers from the nearby garden. Chaeryeong couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and liberation wash over her as she stood by the edge of the pool.
