"S-Si... Si Indigo..." daing ni Shinoo sabay karipas ng takbo papalabas ng tent namin. I was just remained as shock. I know for a fact that I could not let this happen, but... just why am I not moving? Maybe... maybe, they should face the cruelty they did to my stepsister. I've told them before na, yes! They can hurt me... they can insult me, every cruel thing, they can do every cruel thing to me, but I swear—I wouldn't like it if it's part of my family. Ibang bagay na 'yon. I can allow them to hurt the innermost layer of myself, but I wouldn't allow them to do the same thing to my family, especially, my ate.

"Indigo? Indigo, answer me!" I yelled in the middle of this depressing forest beside the carnival place. I took a short rest, hinahayaan lahaaat ng hingal na kailangan kong ilabas. Hindi ko alam kung napalayo ba ako sa kung nasaan sila, pero I know for sure na malapit na 'yon dito. Nakakapagod.

"Indigo! Indigo!" muli kong tawag sa kaniya habang nakasandal ang kamay ko sa tuhod ko, naka-45 degrees na bent ang likod ko. Lumalagatak na ako sa pawis, but I don't care! I need to save my brother, I need to save the person who brought me back to life when I was just a little kid!

"Hello! I am Shinoo, but you can just call me Shin Shin ehehe." I playfully introduced myself in front of the mirror in my room. I was about to continue my introduction not until someone knocked on my door.

"Who's thereeee?" I prolonged my tone at the end of my phrase. I walked towards the door, tumingkayad muna ako para maabot ko itong door knob. Yes, I'm already 8 years old, pero hindi ko pa rin abot yung door knob. I'm a tiny little tiger, rawr! I groaned as soon as I reached the door knob, then opened the door. It was Indigo, my big brother!

"Big brotherrr!!" I enthusiastically said at niyakap siya. He's four years older than me, and that makes him even taller—like a building!

"Hello, Shinoo. You were having your introduction... for school?" he asked as soon as he entered in my room with his bare feet.

"Yes, yes! Look." I answered then positioned myself to present to him what I had practiced earlier ago. I cleared my throat, pinantay ang dalawa kong balikat, ngumiti nang maayos, at pinagdikit ang mga paa ko—making a formal start.

"Tada-da-da-da-dadada~ Ta-dada-da-da~" I hummed as I move my hip gracefully. I span around, then formed a heart shaped connected arms above my head. "Hello! I am Shinoo, but you can just call me Shin Shin, hehehe!" I enthusiastically continued. I saw him chuckling a little bit, which made me a bit more energetic!

"I am one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight years old!" I flicked my fingers one by one until it reached eight. "I come from Quezon City!" I finished my introduction with a large stomp and an ending smile. He clapped multiple times.

"That was fabulous, amaaazing!" complimented Indigo as he gives me a wide embrace. A very graceful embrace! I put out little giggles as we embrace each other. He tightened the embrace then after four seconds, he released himself.

- Shinoo's POV -

I was always so down because mama wasn't always there for me! She'd hurt me, she'd broken my adroitness. Luckily, inosente pa ako noon—pero siguro kung nag-age up kaagad ang maturity ko, I wouldn't be able to completely enjoy my youth. I'm now 24 years old, nangungulila ako sa nanay ko, but at the same time, ayaw kong bumalik ulit ang dati na nagbigay sa'kin ng nakakaburyong pananakit.
