After you ate, Kana led you over to another carriage and this time it looked way bigger and nicer from the one you traveled in. 

The only thing that was preventing the carriage from leaving was Akuto since he was still getting ready. To be honest, you were actually curious about what could be taking so long..

After waiting for about an hour, you saw Mamoru walk out the castle door and saw someone walking behind him. You knew it was Akuto, but you couldn’t get a better look at him until he entered the carriage. 

“Akuto?”
For a second, you felt like you malfunctioned. He was really pretty, holy crap-

He looked like a real-life prince in his nice suit and you couldn’t even begin to describe his hands.. Wait- did you always have a thing for hands???
They had two silver rings on them and you realized that his hair was trimmed which made it look much nicer. 

When Akuto looked over at you, you felt like you were going to pass away from fangirling. What the hell did Mamoru do because to be honest, you wanted the same treatment too!
Akuto looked at you head to toe and nodded in satisfaction. You were here in one piece and better yet, you looked really nice in that dress.

Laying on your shoulder, he took your hand and started playing with your fingers. 

Both you and Akuto were in the back of the carriage while Mamoru and Kana were in the front so they didn’t know what was currently happening in the back. 

Separating your hand, Akuto held his hand up to your hand and compared hand sizes. Your hand was slimmer and slightly smaller than his, but it still fit perfectly in his opinion. 

To be honest, just looking at you reminded him of how much he likes you.

The ride on the carriage felt like it went on forever. The carriage had to go down that rocky hill so it could get to the city which felt like it took centuries and after continuously asking how long you were going to be in the carriage, you couldn’t help but doze off. 

Akuto was still surprisingly wide awake and was still playing with your fingers. He liked how much smaller they were than his. For some reason, it made him want to protect you from any harm. 

Looking at one of the rings on his finger, he took it off and started looking at it. 

It wasn’t the best thing to look at since it looked so plain, but he still gently took your hand and slid the ring onto your finger. 

He compared both of your hands and realized that it felt just right. His mother and father used to have rings on their fingers all the time. He never understood why, but now that he has one on you, he feels like he’s even closer to you than when he was before. 

He gently grasped your shoulder and laid you on his instead. To him, you were his wife that he needed and must protect.

“Lady Y/n, we have arrived.”

Slowly opening your eyes, you saw Kana gently shaking you awake. 

You tried to sit up, but you realized you couldn’t since you were trapped in an arm. It was Akuto and he was holding you way too tightly. 

“What the-”
Before you could say anything else Akuto opened his eyes from his nap and sat up a little. The worst thing was he was still holding you. 

Kana seemed unfazed by the affectionate scene she was currently experiencing. 

“You may come out when you’re ready.”
She closed the door as you struggled in Akuto’s grasp.
