Shadow's POV
I sat next to Faker, humming under my breath as he was eating sweets from the bag of rainbow gummies I gave him.
"You have chocolate on your face." I pointed out
"Oh where?" He replied while rubbing his face vigorously trying to rub away the chocolate
"Right there." I said before licking my thumb and wiping away the chocolate on his face
Fuck, our faces are so close!
"Th-thanks Shads." Sonic muttered while he gently pushed my hand away
"Aww, Shads? That's such a cute nickname!" I heard a voice behind us say
Sonic's POV
I turned around to see Blaze and Amy standing behind our bench, Blaze had a slight smirk on her face
"Hey Sonic, Hey Shadow!" Amy spoke cheerfully
"Hey." Shadow responded
"Hey guys, what brings you here?" I asked
"Mmm, just going out for a walk." Blaze said. "But why did you call Shadow Shads?" Blaze said teasingly while blowing fire from her hand in a kissing motion in the shape of a heart.
Shadow bared his teeth at her, it was clear he didn't approve of Blaze's humour but Amy laughed, at least she did!
"Shut up, cat!" Shadow snapped at Blaze
"What are you going to do about it, then?" Blaze yelled at him begging to get into one of her famous tempers again.
Amy scratched behind Blaze's ear in a comforting way to calm her down which made her purr softly, we really didn't need one of Blaze's tempers so we were all pretty glad that Amy was here.
"I'm sorry..." Blaze said while flicking both of her ears back showing that she was embarrassed
Shadow grunted which displeased me greatly, I nudged his leg with mine trying to get him to appreciate her apology which thankfully he did do.
"It's fine, I'm s-sooorry too." Shadow said with a little struggle which made me chuckle, it was clear he was not used to apologizing.
"Thanks for understanding, Shadow but we should be going, it was great seeing you!" Amy said while walking, waving goodbye to us
"Shall we go to your house?" Shadow asked
"Okay." I replied, stunned to see Shadow to shoot a small smile
He looked cute when he smiled...
