Y/n's Perspective

.
.
.

I hold the bouquet of flowers in my hand, a happy smile on my face.

Man...

Today has been a spectacular day!

I whistle happily as the souls of my shoes tap rhythmically on the pavement.

The band I've been raising is finally doing good.

I've got deals up to wazoo!

I felt giddy all around.

I bet Eve will be thrilled to see I'm home early.

My girlfriend of five years, Evelynn, is the love of my life. She's really something else, beautiful, smart, charismatic, kind, and sweet.

She really is, the perfect woman...

Is it a little exaggerated?

Not to me it's not.

She's the most special person in my life.

My ruffled through my coat pocket, feeling the small velvet box in my hand.

My smile grows wider as I approach my home. I walk up the stone steps, gripping the steel bars for support.

I couldn't contain my excitement as my hand grips the door handle.

I close my eyes for a moment.

This is it Y/n.

I pull the door handle down and push forward, opening the door.

It's time to tie the knot.

I gently close the door, to avoid making any noise. I take quiet steps into the living room, strangely enough, the TV was off.

Hm, she's usually watching TV at this time of day.

I shake it off and walk into the kitchen.

Not here either.

I step out of the kitchen and head to our room.

Evelynn: "Ah-"

Huh?

I place my hand against the door.

???: "Shit~, You're good."

I swing the door open, stacking the wall behind.

Me: "Eve...?"

There she was.

The woman who is dedicated my self to.

The person who I loved the most.

The one I deemed perfect.

Naked, legs open, on another man.

The flowers slowly slip out of my hand, dropping to the floor with a small bump.

Me: "What are you doing...?"

She turns to look at me, an unamused expression on her face.

Evelynn: "Oh, you're home early."

She looked back at the man.

Evelynn: "Let me just finish really quick."

let me just finish really quick.

Let me just finish really quick.

Let me just finish really quick.

The man looks at me, his eyes widening.
