The Devil doesn't cry.

Lucifer tried to hold back the tears from rolling down his cheek. He tried to stop all those stupid human feelings from getting to him. But it wouldn't stop. He couldn't help it. He couldn't stop himself from crashing towards the ground, drowned in his own Hell loop filled with pain and despair.

He couldn't stop himself from grabbing Michael by the neck and swinging him towards mid-air, banging him against the hard wall, beating him over and over and over again like he was a punching bag... Michael deserved it anyway, Lucifer thought.

"WHY!?" Lucifer screamed as the rain started pouring heavily and thunder could be heard in a distance. "She didn't deserve to die, you idiot! If you wanted to kill someone, you should've killed ME!" He continued to punch him and beat Michael up like he was a piece of garbage from July.

[a/n Sometimes I forget Michael and Lucifer are played by the same actor lol]

Below all the commotion between Lucifer and Michael, Maze and Eve stood side by side, shooting demon bullets and swinging demon blades at every direction. Amenadiel's all about defending and only attack if necessary. Defend, duck, and then give the final blow when it's least expected. The demons give all their best, but Team Lucifer still seemed a little back behind compared to Team Michael.

Lucifer's skin was burnt, scarred. His Devil face was back. Beneath all the choking, Michael continued to snort at the sight. "Looks like someone couldn't escape their fate after all..." Michael couldn't help but let out a few coughs as he laughed. "Do you really think anyone would want you, the Devil, as God?"

"Who would want you as God then? You evil, manipulative, murderous bastard!" Lucifer reverted the question back to Michael.

"More than half of our brothers and sisters, matter of factly," The Archangel replied. Lucifer so badly wanted to remove that smug look from his brother's face. "Anyhow, who would want to vote for a monster like you?"

"I'm NOT a monster!" Lucifer retorted.

"Says the Devil who's holding me by the throat and chocking me to death right now." Michael snickered slightly.

"I wasn't given any choice when dear old Dad banned me from Heaven and forced me to rule Hell for all of eternity, you of all people should know that!" Lucifer scowled at his twin brother, who was still smirking.

"You're going to spend your whole lifetime telling yourself that, but you know that deep inside your heart, you are a monster that got your poor detective killed just for your own selfish reasons." Michael stated. "You're the Devil, and no matter what you do or how much you try to convince yourself, you know you are just as much of a monster as I am."

"But I suppose you already knew all of that deep down, didn't you, Samael?"

Memories of everything that happened since the dawn of time rushed towards him, the rebellion against Dad, the falling, the banishment from Silver City, cutting his Angel wings, being the King of Hell, torturing all of those lost souls, leaving Chloe and everyone he cared about heartbroken because of his own selfishness...

"You're a wrecking ball and everything you touch turns into sh!t." Lucifer recalled Detective Douche (Daniel) saying those exact words to him.

... Maybe Michael's right.

Maybe he is a monster.

"This isn't-- this isn't right." Lucifer mumbled to himself, shaking his head as he loosened his grip on Michael. "It's not her time."

Michael was relieved as he finally could breathe again. He chuckled in delight. "What are you babbling about?"

"I'm gonna get her back!" Lucifer decided, filled with determination. He can't lose her. He can't lose Chloe again... Not after they just started patching things up with their relationship.

"Lucifer, come on!" Michael rolled his eyes as he chuckled at his brother's words. "Your banishment. You'll die if you try to go to Heaven."

There was a slight pause after that. "... So be it." Lucifer said, extending his Angel wings. And with one flap, he took off and flew up to Silver City.

*****

As he was flying, he couldn't help but wonder what will happen next. Will he get turned into ashes the second he steps foot into Heaven? And even if he did manage to get to Silver City without a scratch, would he even be welcomed there? I mean, it has been eons since his father punished him to rule Hell for all of eternity.

How would his siblings react? They probably still hate him for acting so ruthless before his banishment. It did have quite a big impact on them because nothing has been quite the same after that.

There were so many questions that Lucifer was in desperate need of answers to.

Right now in front of him laid the gates of Heaven, still as gorgeous and majestic as he remembers it. All he had to do was walk through the gates to get all the answers he needed.

Yet he still had hesitations.

But thinking of the way Chloe made him felt, the feeling he had when he wrapped her around his arms- He went to Hell and back for her twice now, and he would risk anything for her to be back in his arms again.

So finally after eons of his banishment, he took a deep breath as he stepped foot into Silver City.

He sighed. Home sweet home.
