It was a bit of time since when (y/n) heard about Duke's mother; Duke and Missi decided to go out and maybe hunt for warm blood this time than just blood packets. (y/n) is the only human Duke and Missi like, and they wouldn't kill or suck his blood. Duke was getting ready to go.
Duke: Here at home in this steeple
Made of chrome, above a city of steel,

Duke: So we sleep all day, and we rise at night

And when the people all stop and stare

Duke scared a bunch of young people. Then sings about his past.
Duke: When I was young, I was feeble
And it stung when they pushed me down
I was so hated by these people
That I knew I had to do what I could to get out of that town
Duke left his home to escape all the bad stuff and found a place full of vampires.
Duke: So I ran away to this sacred place
And was taken in by creatures of the night
Now when the people all stop and stare
And say, "Why you gotta dress like that?"

He scared people in a fashion store. Then was back home for a bit.
Duke: Those dark days seem far away
I've risen to a better place

Just throw your old life away
And get raised by bats
He jumps off the balcony, slides down a street, and jumps on buildings. Then gets back with Missi, and (y/n) helps them get ready to go out again.

Missi and Duke went out again to a library and other places.

(y/n) was watching using binoculars and saw Missi and Duke fine together. He thinks this is getting better between the two of them. He also wondered if he should tell him about his past.
