❕ Chapter 1 ❕

Jungkook and Yun-seo have nothing in common other than their passion for football. Jungkook doesn't come from a wealthy family, he doesn't have the fame Yun-seo does and his dad is not a cinema superstar. His dad died in a car crash when he was young and his mom got married to his stepdad. He works for this Japanese company and his mom met him there. He was a sweet guy. He already had a son but he was happy to welcome Jungkook into their family. He loves Jungkook as his own son and his older stepbrother loves him dearly too. They were not rich, but they had enough to lead a quiet life.

Jungkook's wish, dream, aim, and goal are one thing. To find out a permanent cure for diabetes through his research.

Yun-seo and Jungkook always hated each other. The first clash they had was when they both wanted the same number on their jersey. Even though Jungkook had claim, Yun-seo got it for some unbelievable reason. Jungkook had to watch his number 17, printed under a filthy "Yun-seo" and he had to live by mortal and mere number 28.

Then there's the matter that Jungkook is the prime midfielder. He's the playmaker, ball distributed, and honestly the puppet master of the pitch. He runs the whole game, both defending and scoring. Without him, his team would be nothing. It didn't help that Yun-seo is a sticker. The coach wants Jungkook to pass the ball to Yun-seo rather than score himself. But Jungkook was not ready to let Yun-seo take the crown and win the scoring league.

It didn't get better when the seniors graduated including the team captain. The coach named Yun-seo as their captain for their senior year. Jungkook was in rage. Dammit, he had worked his arse off to be the captain. Its almost the end of their senior year and their final math was nearing, Yun-seo leading the team was unbearable.

He's got the worst fucking ideas ever ( starting up with breathing exercises by the Han river on Saturday mornings, really?) and the fact that he's the most pretentious jerk to roam this planet doesn't help.

Today, it was one of their usual fights.

Coach tried to speak to them. He really did but after three years of hatred, verbal, and physical combat, it's hard to bury the hostility. Jungkook guesses that this is a conflict between money and education. fame and bravery. Whatever that is, one thing is very clear, there's no peace for Jungkook as long as Yun-seo exists in the picture. Right now, his only source of happiness is Jimin.

Park Jimin

The angel he is. After crushing on him all middle school, Jungkook and Jimin finally got together. Jimin is not the one who stresses grades. He's kind, caring, funny, sassy, and flirty. His happy-go-easy nature was what attracted Jungkook to the boy.

No one can tell from his ethereal beauty and small frame that he's capable of breaking bones. Park Jimin comes from an upper-middle-class family. His parents died when he was 13. His older sister raised him after that. she was already 19 years old then and their parents left them quite a fortune. She had a scholarship to complete her college education and took up a part-time job to raise Jimin. Jimin himself did a few odd jobs without his sister's knowledge, like walking dogs and helping in small restaurants to not bother his sister much.

It was quite hard for them in the beginning, but after his sister got selected for the campus interview and got a job in one of the top-paying companies in Japan, everything became easier. She earned more than what was needed for them and was able to provide Jimin with the best in everything. The only drawback was that she is living in Japan and Jimin in Korea. They visit each other whenever time permits.

Jimin was very grateful to have a sister like her. But unlike his sister, he was not into studies. He always knew that his future lay outside the world of academic achievements. His sister was only happy to support him, even though she didn't think it is a suitable carrier for his future. Jimin was into arts in all forms. Singing, Dancing, Painting, Raping... he was a pro at it all. He's been learning contemporary dancing since a very young age and wishes to achieve something big.

Jimin also has a thing for books. He can always get lost in a good book. Sure he doesn't care about academics but a good crime novel and a chemistry textbook are not the same right? If you can't find Jimin in the dance room, then you can find him in the library (or sometimes with Jungkook).

The next thing Jimin is fond of is Jungkook. He has been crushing on Jungkook since their middle school days and after a lot of twists and turns, he and Jungkook finally got together. The boy was smart, intelligent, handsome, and fucking sexy. Even after being together for almost two years now, Jimin still feels butterflies in his stomach at the thought of the brunet.

Jungkook always had a passion for studies and academics. He's a topper in everything he did. The only thing he never understood was Jimin. The latter was independent, confident, and unique. Jungkook adored him for that.

Jungkook was their school topper for the last three years. And he's expected to become the topper once again in their senior year too.

Their school principal Jong-soo was very proud of him, and all of their professors expected great things from him. His thesis about medicine for diabetes got UNESCO and WHO recognition and he is selected as an all Asia young scientist and is welcomed by the UN to deliver a speech, right after their final year exams.

A feat that he achieved through years of dedication and hard work.

The next day at the morning school assembly, their principal let the whole school know about Jungkook's achievement much to the displeasure of Yun-seo.

On his way back to the classroom, Jungkook was pulled away from the corridor by Jimin and into the store room at the end of the hall closing the door after them.

"Jimin, wha-"

Jungkook was silenced as Jimin turned around and slammed him into the wall and pressing his plump full lips on Jungkook's thin pink ones. instantly, Jungkook's hands found their place on Jimin's waist, and Jimin clenched his hands on Jungkook's shirt and pulled the brunet closer, deepening their kiss.

"Jimin we have classes" Jungkook gasped as the blonde went in for another kiss. Jimin silenced him with a peck again.

"I'm-so-fucking-proud-of-you-Jungkookah" Jimin said with a peck in between each word, letting the brunet know how he'll support him no matter what.

Jungkook felt his heart flutter at that and he shyly smiled down at Jimin, who returned the smile with another kiss on his lips and then on his forehead. After that, they left the dark storeroom and to their class.
