Missing

Wally was starting to get seriously worried.

This was the problem with having a boyfriend who had a triple life. Wally had no idea whether Dick going missing was a Demigod thing, a Hero thing, or a Rich person thing.

After a week, he had basically ruled out it being a 'Dick Grayson' thing, there had been no ransom note so it just didn't make sense. He was still working tirelessly with the team to try and locate him.

It was after school about 8 months (google couldn't help me so I'm just guesstimating how long it is from Percy's disappearance to the beginning of Mark of Athena) after Dick's disappearance, and Wally was in the office of Wayne manor, heading down to the Batcave  in order to use the Batcomputer to find his Batboyfriend. Many of the team had given up hope that Robin was still alive, but Wally wouldn't- couldn't- accept it.

The phone rung and Bruce, who was sitting at his desk and reviewing paperwork picked it up,

"Yes?" Bruce greeted, he had been a lot less patient since Dick's disappearance,

"Hello, uh, is this the residence of Percy Jackson?" Wally could only just make out what was being said but obviously this was someone, probably a girl, from camp,

"I don't know anyone by that name, now-"

"Uh Bruce, sir?" Wally started nervously, he didn't want whoever this was to receive a Bathreat, they could be pretty traumatizing (Wally knew this because he had once received the Shovel Talk while Bruce was fully decked out in batman gear and had an unconscious crook slung over his shoulder), "I think that's for me." Bruce glared but handed Wally the phone anyway. Somehow, Wally gained the nerve to give Bruce a pointed look, Bruce just scowled and left the room. Wally quickly turned his attention back to the phone,

"Sorry about him,  whoever sent you to call should have warned you about Percy's family." He said, trying hard to kill the tension in the air,

"Uh yeah, well, My name's Piper and Annabeth wanted me to call and let someone know that we know where Percy is." the girl, Piper, reminded Wally of someone he had met at a Gala with Dick once, he brushed it off to be him making silly connections.

Then he forgot about it completely when he focused on the second part of what Piper had said,

"You found him?" Wally said, his voice thick with excitement. He felt ready to cry. "Where?"

"Uhh, it's..." Piper said, obviously unsure if the person she was talking to knew about the mythical world,

"Is it something to do with the Gods?" Wally asked, intending to clue her in without having to come out and say that he knew,

"Yeah, uh, we've got a flying ship and we're going to see him, if you know Percy then I'm sure Annabeth won't mind if you come." Piper conceded, "But we're going soon, unless you're really close, you probably won't make it onto the ship." Wally grinned,

"Don't worry, I'm very fast."

------

When Wally arrived at Camp Half-Blood, he knew it was a gamble as to whether or not the borders would let him in, he just hoped that the magic understood that he wasn't only human. Wally got lucky and managed to get into camp.

He saw the 'Flying Ship' that Piper had talked about and sped towards it, not paying the shocked campers any mind.

When he arrived, he saw Annabeth marching around, spewing out orders, they had never met each other but they'd both seen pictures of the other and from what Dick had said, Annabeth was a little jealous of his place as Dick's best friends. Little did she know that she had more o be jealous of than that.

"Annabeth." Wally said, trying to be polite,

"Wally?" it was phrased a bit like a question so Wally took it upon himself to answer it,

"Piper called, said you found Dick- uh Percy, I want to see him." He said, hoping he hadn't just thrown Piper under the metaphorical bus. Annabeth narrowed her eyes but nodded and gestured to the ramp.

Wally didn't even notice the look the daughter of Athena gave him when his back was turned, all that was important to him was finally seeing his boyfriend again.

I honestly didn't think I'd manage to update today but here we are, this is set just before Mark Of Athena, if you couldn't tell. If the writing is poor quality, it's because it's late and I'm seriously overtired from my stupidly long walk today, there was no need for me to extend my daily walk but I did (I ended up on the other side of the island, well done me.)

Thanks for all the support, please comment, I love the comments I get!

Maybe even consider voting to show me that you like the nonsense I'm spewing.

Luv Ya,

Hestia.
