After telling the vampire my name. I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous, and even though this vampire seems friendly enough, I knew I had to be careful around him

We walked to a small table in the corner of the room where he had prepared a cup of tea for each of us. As we sat down, I decided to ask him somethings.

"Um, do you mind telling me more about the vampires world?" I asked him

He looked at me and smiled,"I've been around for a long time," he said, sipping his tea. "I've seen many things, and I've learned a lot about the world."

I was intrigued. "What kind of things have you seen?" I asked.

He leaned back in his chair, his eyes distant. "Well, all kinds of things. I've seen wars, and I've seen peace. I've seen great empires rise and fall, and I've seen the birth of new ones. And of course, I've seen the world change as technology has advanced."

I listened intently as he spoke. I had never met anyone like him before, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe.

"Oh," I said softly. "You've lived through so much. It's amazing."

He smiled. "Yes, it is. But what about you, Hiba? What brought you to our castle?" He asked.

I hesitated, not sure if I should tell him the truth. But something in his eyes told me that he could be trusted.

"I'm here because I have nowhere to go," I said. "My family were.. killed, by some rogue vampires" I told him. trying my best to keep my emotions in check. His expression changed "I'm really sorry to hear that, Hiba. It's a tragic reality that these savages have caused harm not only to humans, but to other innocent beings as well." he said softly.

"It's okay, there's nothing you could do about it anyway," I said. We sat there for a while just drinking tea and saying nothing. Then a I decided to finally break the silent.

"So.. what is your name?" He looked at me and then smiled. "Oh! Of course, it's seems I've forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Michael brown, the queen's advisor and her most trusted friend" he smiled offering his hand. I was a little shocked to know that he was queen Perla's advisor. But I nodded and shook his hand.

"So Hiba, how long have you been working here?" He asked.

"I've been working in the castle for a few weeks now."

Michael nodded. "I see. And how are you finding it?"

"It's been good," I said honestly. "There's a lot to learn, but everyone has been really kind to me."

Michael smiled. "That's good to hear. The queen and her family are very kind to their human employees. We may have our differences, but we all try to get along."

I nodded, feeling grateful for the queen's kindness. But I couldn't help but wonder about the vampire-human relationship. Was it always so friendly? Or were there conflicts and tensions that I didn't know about?

As we finished our tea, Michael stood up and bowed, I was confused at first and when I turned my head I found queen Perla standing right behind me. I got up from my seat and bowed showing her respect. And after she told me to stand, I found her smiling warmly at me. Michael was also looking at her now.

"I see you have met my advisor" she said walking closer to me. "Yes, your majesty" I said, feeling nervous at how close we were. "He did not do anything stupid while I was gone, did he?" She asked chuckling softly

A look of shock spread on Michael's face "oh! How dare you?! I am the most intelligent creature in this entire kingdom. and you're asking if I was acting dumb in front of this adorable little human" Michael said acting hurt. I chuckled at his actions.

"Of course, no one is as intelligent as you" queen perla said as she rolled her eyes at him. She signaled for me to follow her. "Thank you for finally admitt- what? wait where are you taking her?!" Michael yelled. Queen Perla shut the door at his face while he continued to yell inside. I laughed finding the situation really funny.

The queen turned her head when she heard me, she smiled at me. "Come with me my dear" she offered me her hand and I took it. We started walking together. I was a bit surprised when she suddenly stopped and hugged me, the hug was surprisingly warm, even though vampires body's are known to be cold. I let out a little yelp when she picked me up. I tried to get her to put me down but she was just too strong for me to defeat. So instead I just pouted. She chuckled and kissed my cheek softly before continuing walking somewhere.

She held me close and rested my head on her shoulder. It felt strange, this feeling felt strange. It's like my mind is being melted away. It feels so comfortable being near her.

She stopped Infront a door. I think it was her door with how majestic it looked. She opened the door and yep, this must be her room. She carried me close to her king size bed. She sat down on the bed, still holding me.

I lifted my head to look at her. Queen Perla was starting at me. Lost in thoughts.

She laid me down on the bed, still staring at me. The queen kiss my forehead while rubbing my stomach gently "my little baby" she said kiss my cheek. Everything was suddenly so soft and comfortable. She embraced me once again and I couldn't help but cling to her for dear life. This is the first time I have felt like this, and I don't know why. All I know is that it's the most soothing feeling I've ever felt.
