So what does he do? He leaves. Takes his entire family along with him, because if you're going to make a dramatic exit, you might as well go big, right? Tragic. And sure, maybe he did think he was doing the right thing. Maybe he thought he was sparing himself the agony of seeing Gwen with someone else. But, spoiler alert: it was the biggest mistake he could have made. Why, you ask? Oh, you know, the small matter of the man he left her with turning out to be a psycho-a real evil, never-go-near-this-person-in-a-dark-alley kind of guy.
