"N/n Come on! Darius wants to tell a camp story!" I heard Kenji call out from outside
I was grabbing my self some water before I went outside.
"Jeez I'm coming!"
I walked out and sat next to Ben.
"Ready?" Darius asked
"Yeah" Everyone said at the same time
Darius cleared his throat and began his story after pulling his hood up.
A little bit after he started Ben clinged onto kenji, and even from the corner of my eye he has some grip.
" We thought it'd be fun."
" We thought we'd be safe, but... we didn't realize the... horror waiting for us on the island."
"Claws..."
"Teeth..."
"Screaming... So much Screaming"
Sammy shuddered and held her knees closer to her chest.
"How much Screaming?"
"Shh he's getting to the good part!"
This story was bad but interesting at the same time, if I were to go back inside I would be left wondering what was next.
"The T-rex stalked closer, her jaws opened wide-"
Darius was interrupted by brooklynns camera flash. We all looked at her confused and disappointed that the story was interrupted.
"For the vlog, keep telling your little story"
"Brooklynn if your not gonna listen at least go inside. that was rude."
she only gave me a glance before turning her attention to her screen again scrolling through her camera roll
"Oh here we go."
Kenji said adjusting in his seat for the good part as I leaned closer, feeling the campfires warmth on my face
"Okay. The T-rex sta-"
"Dang! out of space- Im sorry hold on"
"I just don't want to delete my selfie on everest, you know?" she tilted her phone towards Sammy showing the photo. I looked over to see ehat was so good about it and she tilted it more towards me to see
"You actually look good in that one"

"aw thanks! I'm definitely going to keep it"
Oh no COME ON she thinks I like her now. how the hell do I get out of this?
"Maybe I should start over"
"No! in fact you can just stop!"
"Dude chill, he's not even telling the story right now, and how is your grip this strong? Y/n get him off me!"
Kenji said literally prying at Ben's fingers but he wasn't letting go
"Nope not helping you. Sorry."
"So the T-rex stalked-"
"Shouldn't we call yasmina over? I bet she would love this story"
Darius laid onto the bench giving up on his story.
" Maybe she wants to be by herself"
