Adam was sweating bullets. "Oh!"

The clerk smirked. "You said you wanted stuffed... creatures?"

"Oh yes!" Calliope put the box back.

Adam took a breath.

The store's employee refused to laugh. "I think we have those over here."

"Come, Adam!" Calliope moved away from the board game display.

Adam thought she was so cute as she hurried after the clerk. "I'm coming."

The sales associate showed them to the massive stuffed animal selection. "Are you looking for a particular animal?"

"Dianna needs an elephant." Calliope searched for one.

"How big?"

She stood, shocked. She moved her mouth before smiling widely. "Very large! As large as it comes!"

"I like the way you think." He grinned before going to find her a large elephant.

Adam slid him a glance.

Calliope went about searching for felines.

The clerk found a large grey elephant that was nearly lavender. "How about this, sweetheart?"

"Yes! She will adore this!" Calliope set the train on the floor and went to collect the stuffed animal.

"Calliope, that's bigger than you." Adam smirked.

Calliope didn't care. "Dianna will adore this. She will be named... Brielle."

"Sticking with the "B" names? Alright. Help me find Abi's toy so we can get back before Dean skins me."

"Skins you?" She readjusted the elephant in her arms.

"Yeah. He'll kill me if he thinks we've been out too long."

She smacked her lips. "Dean is evolving."

"Why push it?"

That made sense. "Okay. Can you hold my training?"

"Train."

"Train." She parroted.

"Yeah." He picked it up.

"Can you find us a large panther?" Calliope asked the nosy clerk.

The man nodded and led them to the big cats. He picked up a large black panther. "How about this?"

"Abi will assuredly adore this."

It was so big, Adam was a little afraid of it.

The clerk could read his face and grinned. "It's on sale."

"What does that mean?" Calliope had heard that word before.

"It means it doesn't cost as much as it usually does." Adam explained.

"Ah! We will like this please."

"You're good people." The sales associate said. "Tell ya what? I'll throw in the box of Monopoly for free."

Calliope's mouth fell open. "Really?!"

The clerk grinned at Adam's appalled face. "Sure thing, sugar."

"Adam! It won't cost monies!" She looked up into Adam's face.

Adam hurried to wipe all expression from his features but inside he was spitting mad. "That's great."

She beamed and marched to find the board games display again.

Adam glared at the grinning shop worker. "Funny."
