Dean knocked on Adam's door bright and early the next morning.

Adam opened up, stretching and rubbing his eyes. When he stopped, he realized it was his eldest brother and deflated. "What?"

"I deserve that." Dean acknowledged.

"Yeah. You do."

Dean kept his temper. "I'm here to apologize."

Adam woke up at that.

"Don't look so surprised."

"But I am."

Dean's lips turned down. "You're lucky you deserve this."

"An apology? From you?"

"I know how to apologize!"

Adam looked away.

Dean was truly offended now. He worked through it and opened his mouth. "I apologize for telling everyone but especially Calli that you burned down CandyLand."

Adam gaped.

Dean gave him a bitter look.

Adam tried to speak and it took a couple seconds for him to catch his scattered thoughts. "Wow."

Dean waited. "Well?"

"Yeah. Um... I accept? Why are you especially sorry about Calliope?"

"Because I know you have feelings for her and I purposely put a wedge between you. I was just mad and jealous." That hurt to admit.

Adam's jaw nearly detached. "What are you jealous about?! You have her!"

"And she can leave anytime she wants."

"I think it'll be harder to do when you're married."

Dean lit up.

"Uh oh..."

Dean smiled widely. "I trapped her."

"With two kids at that."

"It'll be more."

"Yikes."

"Shut up. You'll have your turn. She told me she gave Abi the inspiration to find you."

Adam bobbed his head. "Yeah. Calliope's really special. But I'm kinda excited to meet Abi."

Dean smiled. "Good."

"What does she look like?!"

Dean shrugged and walked off.

Adam couldn't stand having older brothers.

Missouri ignored Dean while serving up lunch.

He deflated. She was still mad about him lying on Adam. "I apologized!"

"And groveled." Calliope helped... no one.

Dean blushed as everyone looked at him.

"When did you grovel?" Sam had to know.

"Who did you grovel to?" Was Adam's question.

"You know how to grovel?" Benny was right behind them.

"I am proud of you, Dean." Castiel smiled, actively working on the action.

Dean was bright as a star. "I did not grovel!"

"Yes, you did." Calliope frowned lightly. "You groveled at least four hours."

Meg looked at Dean in interest. "Four whole hours?"

"Continuously."

Margot blushed as red as Dean. "Oh my!"
